Did you know that...

There are people who don't support LGBTQ and don't voice it?!??

WOAHHHHH

I hope you got my sarcasm there.

But seriously. My definition of homophobia is: someone who doesn't support LGBTQ and trashes/insults those who do/are and loudly voices that they don't support it.

One of my friends doesn't support it that much, but she keeps it to herself. She doesn't trash the people in our school who are LGBTQ. And that's fine!

Example of both types:

Homophobia: Madison's friend Ella just came out to her as a lesbian/bi/pan/any other sexuality besides straight. Madison proceeds to yell at her, saying she is disgusting and will burn in Hell for this. She insults her, saying it's wrong, and Ella runs away crying and is absent from school for three days. When she comes back, Madison spreads rumors and tries to convince people that Ella is disgusting and weird because she has a different sexuality.

Quietly non-supporting: Katelyn's friend Addison came out to her as lesbian/bi/pan/any other sexuality besides straight. Katelyn doesn't agree, but she tells her friend she is proud of her for coming out, and she tells her politely why she doesn't support it. Addison understands, and the two stay friends and simply don't bring up the topic.

Boom.

Stop being homophobic, it can ruin lives.
