Plz don't hate it :D

(This probably won't be a separate book unless you people want it to be)

Battle Quests

The Prophecy Begins

The fire spread through the village.

'curse these stupid dark fire mages, I should have froze them in that temple the last time I saw them'

Thought Jeffon, the ice master.

Although dark fire mages were tough, hey were terrified of bugs.

Jeffon smirked at the thought, then pushed it away as he remembered his wife, Heekadona (why did I call her that),the master of potions, elixirs, and enchantments.

He thought of how she was in their mini corner of their shack, about to have their first child (how the crap did I think of this).

The greatest prophet, Sekata, couldn't predict if the child would be a boy or girl, which meant that they were either having a twin boy and girl, the child is part of a very important prophecy, or both.

As soon as the prophet said "the sight has been blocked by the ancients," Jeffon knew his child or children weren't going to spend their days as care-free mage's like he was as an apprentice.

He was so caught up in the thought of his child or children that he nearly ran into the door.

He could his wife gasping for air, but there was another sound.

The sound of a baby crying!

Jeffon opened the door.

His wife was sitting in bed with two newborn babies crying in her arms.

'they're safe' Jeffon thought as he raced across the shack to hug his wife and children.

"What are their names" Jeffon asked, breaking the hug.

"The girl's name is Yamona. I still haven't named the boy. I think you should name him."

Heekadona smiled, handing Jeffon the boy.

"I think he should be named Nick. It's my families favourite name."

The door crashed open.

Jeffon got ready to freeze the flame mages.

"Take the kids and run." He muttered to Heekadona.

"I can't let my family die."

Heekadona took Nick from Jeffon, then ran as fast as she could to the forest.

Jeffon smiled.

'Goodbye' he thought as he froze the shack.
