Backstory: they where abandoned by their father as an egg before hatching being a hybrid egg (just roll with it ;)). So their mother was forced (because she didn't want them to die) to take them home. Their mother was one of the higher ranks as a result they lived in the Queens palace. They were born blind and kept a very important secret from the other dragons. They were also an animus. They did work around their and their mother's cave keeping the place clean, and memorising the cave in the process.
They make sure not to give their secret away on a daily basis.
