Is this bad?
I'm ready to have kids. I'm ready to be older, find the love of my life, get married, have children. I'm ready to watch those children grow up, and as they grow up I'm going to be the mom that mine never was, never is. When my kid(s) turn about 11 I'm going to sit them down and I'm going to talk to them about depression and anxiety and LGBT+ and mental illnesses, etc. I'm going to make sure they know that if they feel any different, they can talk to me. That I understand. I want them to know that they are amazing people, but that I understand if they have self confidence issues. I want my kids to know that I understand them in a way, I want them to know about this kind of stuff, I want them to be able to talk to me; but I want them to know that I'm not forcing them to.
Right now, I'm 13. My mom tells me I'm too young to even have worries, yet I worry about everything. She tells me I'm too young to even know the definition of anxious, yet I have bad anxiety. She tells me I have no idea what being depressed even is, yet I have scars from self harm.
I don't want my kids to feel the way I do. I don't want anyone to ever feel bad.
I just want them to know that it's okay, and that they will always have people who care about them.
Why do I think about this kind of stuff
