I can't be the only one lowkey curious on the Decepticon's pasts.

The creators of tfp went into detail of most of Team Prime's, and Megatron.

But when it came to Knockout, Breakdown, Airachnid, Soundwave, Starscream, Dreadwing, Skyquake, Makeshift, and the rest of the cons, we knew almost NOTHING of their pasts

It has me super curious, especially Knockout's, since they imply multiple times in the show that he has/had the ability to fly, possible because he once was a seeker?

I wish they had gone more in depth with the characters, so we could have formed stronger 'connections' with them.

If course I have headcanons on their backgrounds, well, some of them.

For example: Soundwave was abandoned and cared for by a caretaker who abused him constantly, leaving scars on his face. He never felt the true feeling of love, and still yearns for that to this day. This feeling of weakness is the reason he doesn't talk, and uses the visor to hide his face. He met megatronous at a gladiator fight one day, and for once in his lifetime, felt equal to somebody. The two became close friends, long before Orion Pax cane into the story. But, because for much of his childhood he had been treated like a servant, his loyalty to Megatronous grew, and he never left his side, even when he became Megatron. He didn't agree with Maegatron's actions, but was roped in because if his undying loyalty. When he found Laserbeak, it was the first time the mech had EVER felt love.

Knockout was born into a family where the carrier had wanted a femme. When he was born, there was a glitch in the system that caused him to have the vain personality we know him to have. Because his carrier had wanted a femme, she treated him as one, contributing to his femenine behavior. He was created a seeker, but his wings were destroyed when the Decepticons bombed their city. Knockout was taken by the Con's at a semi-young age, and forced to leave everything he knew behind, and change everything about him: his name (he wasn't originally called Knockout, it was the name given to him. He can't remember his old name) his armor, and even, his vehicle mode, when presented the option to scan a jet and be able to fly again, he rejected, solely to forget his childhood where he was humiliated by being treated like a femme and scanned a car instead to try and regain his masculinity.

Starscream was born into a family of tremendous wealth and power in the city of Vos, and was pampered since youth. When his parents died, as being the oldest of his three brothers, he assumed all the power. However, when the war hit, his grasp on his might began to falter, slowly driving him to madness. It wasn't until Megatron slaughtered his brothers that it pushed Starscream over the edge. He joined the Decepticons, for the sole purpose to betray Megatron in the.future. However, Megatron abused him as his SIC, and became manipulating him into questioning his loyalty. Eventually his quest for revenge was warped into a quest for power, and he soon forgot the entire reason for trying to kill Megatron in the first place, left only with the desire to rule, since it's all he had done all his life.

Breakdown was born into poverty, and began working in energon mines at a young age. It was a harsh and torturous life, and they were treated like prisoners, with endless work cycles and little rest. His entire life, he worked harder and harder just to rise in the caste-like system. Many times he had pleaded with the council of Cybertron to give him and his fellow miners better lives, but not once did they accept. He actually worked along side another, Bulkhead. But, one day, Bulkhead was promoted to construction crew, leaving Breakdown, his only other friend, in the mines. It was the continuous loop of pleading and being rejected that caused Breakdown's hatred for the Primes. So, when Megatron liberated him, and offered him a position, he had no trouble accepting.

These are just a few headcanons I came up with. They are NOT CANON. They're just what I think the Con's backgrounds are like. Tell me, what do you think?
