For the past year a lot has changed,
I've overcome such a difficult stage,
At 22, Its a lot to take in especially at my age,
Yet here i am ready to turn another page.

The old me who feels so insecure of herself,
Turns to a fearless girl that is i, myself
Trust in Him that's my secret,
A newfound strength that's what you get.

One thing I've learned is to increase your faith,
And let God write your life story as you wait,
Gone will be all your troubles and hate,
And sooner you'll get to love your own fate.

Never would i have thought I'd live to see this day,
When there's no day i forget to pray,
And be carefree, come what may,
If there's a will, there's always a way.
