Yeah Churches are scary

I am scared of churches too, for different reasons.

I'm Jewish and my family and ancestors were effected a lot by the Holocaust. Mainly my mom because her grandparents both had to move to avoid the Nazis and many of my ancestors died there.

Not just that. I had a best friend who was a very accepting person. At some point, she slipped out that her dad hated Jews. I talked to my mom about it, and she went into even more details about religion and stuff.

Because of this, I feared the idea of Christianity. And when ever Christmas trees came up, my mom would complain that there was no Hanukkah stuff. And how Christan built our country is.

Which is all true, but I was a 1st or 2nd grader. Then it evolved into my elementary school life where I was developing social anxiety, etc.

Point is, I started to be scared of all Christian related things. So I would sometime hyperventilate in Churches.

Now I have to get over that feeling because a lot of places like piano performances and charity stuff take place in churches and can be Christan related.

And America tends to forget that Jews, Muslims, and people who practice Buddhism and Hinduism exist. And there are many more religions here, but I'm just saying. The social pressure to be a Christian is, heart consuming.

Oh, and more background knowledge, my inter Grandpa's family was wiped out by the Holocaust. His father was the only survivor and who successfully immigrated to America.

And my mom's bullies played anti-Semitic and Holocaust songs to my mom and the other 2 Jewish girls in school because bullying was mostly over looked. And my mom was in a VERY Christian area. My teachers were mean to the Jewish kids.

This got depressing. But anyways, churches are scary and weird. They also echo a lot. You could fart or have a scam caller and it would TOTALLY echo that shit!

This one is true though!
