Funny story about Sinnoh games
Going right into it because I'm writing at like 1 AM, I found Pokémon Pearl on the ground of a parking lot. It was my first ever Pokémon game, and I played it a lot on my Nintendo DS. (This was like 2-3 years ago when I first started getting into Pokémon).
Well one Christmas, I went on a trip up north to see family. I brought my DS and Pearl with me and yeah. Well I left it in my mom's car for several weeks after that, and when I finally got it out about a month later, it didn't work. So what I'm thinking is that the Florida sun decided to melt the things inside the cartridge. All of my data and two Gym Badges- gone! And my poor Monferno that singlehandedly took down all of Roark's Pokémon- vanished! It's not really that big of a deal now; I mean, the game was free when I found it.
And then earlier this year I got an emulating app on my phone. I downloaded Pokémon Platinum and played through about half of it before the app got deleted because of... um... well, having games that weren't supposed to be played. Or at least that's what I'm assuming. The app came back up, but my saved data was gone. My Grotle and Staraptor and Luxray and three Gym Badges- nonexistent. Again, this was free so I'm not that upset.
So yeah. That's the bad luck stories I have with Sinnoh games. And yet so many of my stories nowadays are set in Sinnoh. Maybe I still have a soft spot for the region; after all, it was the first Region I ever played in.
Oh, and here's the final clue to the new thing:
Platinum
Ugh. I forgot what the clue was originally supposed to be. Again it's like 1:30 AM when I'm writing all this.
Anyway the thing's going to be revealed later today.
I'm going to sleep. Bye.
