A very short and sweet drabble I rediscovered in my notes featuring two of my OCs. For those of you wondering, I welcome questions about my OCs! I'll probably post a masterlist of all of them sometime soon.

"Theo, let me drive."

"No, it's fine, I got it."

"You literally just almost hit a tree. I think it's time for me to take a turn."

At the mention of their near catastrophe, Theo glanced at the girl playfully glaring at him from the passenger seat. "How do you know I didn't do that on purpose to wake YOU up?"

"Because if you meant to do it, you wouldn't have screamed like a four year old watching a horror movie," Skylar retorted, smirking as she watched Theo attempt to fight off another yawn. "C'mon, it's late, you've been driving for the whole time, and we still have three more hours left to go. Let me drive."

Theo was silent for moment, drumming his fingers against the stirring wheel. Skylar shifted in the seat, fiddling with her seatbelt calmly while the boy thought things over. Finally, he pulled over to the side of the nearly-empty highway.

"Alright, have fun," Theo said as he opened his door and slipped out. Skylar slid into his seat as he crossed over and took hers.

Reaching into the back of the tiny vehicle, the lavender-eyed girl grabbed a small blanket and pillow from the top of their mess of luggage and threw them at Theo as he buckled up. "Get some sleep, I'll wake you up when we're five minutes away."

Reluctantly buddling himself up, Theo smiled softly. "Thanks, Skylar."

"No problem, bud. Now get some sleep."
