On My Own
That was it. I was on my own, all by myself in a zombie attack. "I'm not giving up." I told myself. I was not so sure about that. I did have all the supplies. I had forgot to give it to the Traitors. That was a good thing, because if the Traitors had left with the supplies, I would have had nothing. I got out of the opening and looked outside. Nobody. They had left me. I decided to attempt to find the bus, even though it probably had left or the people in it had turned into zombies. There it was! Parked by a gas station which could be a good sign...or could be a bad sign, but I walked up to the bus anyway.
"Help, help!" cried a voice that was very familiar to me, it sounded tiny. I walked a little closer to the voice, and then I saw the hair. The hair was red, it was the fourth grader I had last seen on the bus.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"No, the bus driver turned into a zombie!" he responded.
"Where is the bus driver?" I said in a slightly (very) scared voice,
"I lured him away into an office building." he said,
"HEY, we've been looking for you!" Another voice yelled. I knew that voice too. It was the girl named Katie, that I thought had ran away from me with a boy named Arlo.
"You ran away from me," I yelled,
"No, we were running to get something to fend off the zombies, so you could escape,"
"And when we looked for you at the mall, we thought you were dinner to the zombies!"
"Oh, well we have to go now. All this talking is just making more zombies follow us,"
I said in a quiet voice,
"We have to find somewhere safe to stay."
