"Even the things that are erasable leave a mark."

You know how when you erase something with a bad eraser so the old marks are still kind of there, but you can write over it so it somewhat covers it? This is like arguments we have with people. We can fix them with compromises and try to make up for it, but it will never be the same. I'm not saying that it will be worse, but things that happen that develop a relationship are never truly gone, whether they were good or bad, but especially if they were bad. They shape how the relationship will continue to grow, and set a norm for what is expected in the relationship. Leave a good first impression and it will always be there, but screw something up, and that will be remembered too. Try to be the best person you can to everyone and even if you do judge, keep it to yourself.
