Narrator's POV

Marinette's alarm clock went off. "Whoa!" She sprung up holding her alarm clock in her hand. "Wow! You actually woke up this time, Marinette!" Tikki laughed.

The bluenette rolled her eyes. "Let's get ready." She said. When Marinette was finished and she went down for breakfast her parents were amazed that she managed to wake up early.

She decided to run to school so she can be the first in class. When she got there she did a little happy dance in between pants. "Oh yeah! I'm first! I'm, I'm, I'm first! Oh yeah!" She dashed in her seat and did her little happy dance again.

But, she wasn't alone. "What are you doing, Marinette?" A voice startled Marinette. "Aah! F-Felix! I didn't see you there!" She exclaimed. He rolled his eyes. "Clumsy girl...." He mumbled.

She sat in her seat awkwardly until Alya came. "Alya! Thank goodness!" Alya looked at her early friend in shock. "Marinette!? You're here early!? This is an occasion to celebrate for!" Alya cheered.

Marinette fell asleep as she waited for the teacher to start. When she woke up she was greeted with screams. "GIRL! HOW ARE YOU STILL ASLEEP!?" Alya yelled.

"Huh!? What's going on?" Marinette looked up to see an Akuma holding her arm up in an uncomfortable way. "Hehe.... Hi?" It roared in her face and she flinched.

The Akuma was a huge werewolf. It had teeth and claws and stuff 😨😱. Marinette looked around for anything to use, like she did with her Lucky Charm.

She came up blank so she just decided to kick it. Her kick was definitely not a weak kick. If there was something she learned from being Ladybug it was how to kick.

She managed to kick it as soon as Chat walked in. His mouth dropped open at the sight of his shy classmate kicking an Akuma and knocking it out.

Marinette brushed her hands off. "Well that was easy." She said. Marinette turned around to be greeted with a shocked Chat Noir. "Hello. What are you staring at?" She tilted her head and asked.

"You! You just knocked that Akuma out!" She winced and tried to cover it up. "I mean, ow! That hurt! My leg!" Did I say she tried to cover it up? I meant she tried to cover it up poorly.

He looked at her with serious doubt on his face. "Um, I'm gonna go to safety now." She quickly scurried out of the room. Marinette transformed into Ladybug and got to work.

"My Lady! You just missed it! Marinette knocked the Akuma out!" Ladybug laughed sarcastically. "I... gave her a few pointers after the whole Evillustrator event just in case something like that happened again. And it did." Ladybug breathed and looked for where the Akuma might be.

"My Lady! Over here! It's wearing a brooch!" Chat called. "Awesome! Nice job, Chat!" She praised the Kitty. "Don't you mean paw-some?" Chat joked. Ladybug rolled her eyes.

"Let's just get going." Chat broke the Akuma while Ladybug cleansed it. A boy about Marinette's age turned up beneath the pile of fur.

Red ladybugs turned everything back to normal. Ladybug leaned down to see the unidentified boy. "Hello? You okay?" She asked him. The boy groaned and sat up.

"Where am I?" He asked. The boy looked at Ladybug and was surprised to see her in a skin tight suit. "Who are you?" He asked again. "You turned into an Akuma and went on a rampage. Luckily you made it here and a girl named Marinette knocked you out. This is the school that everyone in Paris attends." (I forgot her school's name 😅.)"

He shook his head and looked up. "Who are you?" He asked yet again. "My name is Ladybug. I am one of Paris' superheroes. Right, Chat?" She said.

Chat came up behind her. "She is correct. My name is Chat Noir. I work with her." He said. Their Miraculous beeped. "We gotta run before we detransform! See ya around!" Ladybug ran into an empty classroom and detransformed.

"Close one. But I didn't even use lucky charm. Why did I detransform?" Marinette questioned. She ran into the boy that was turned into an Akuma. "What's an Akuma?" He asked himself.

"It's a person who was turned into a villain unwillingly by Papillon. He turns white butterflies into dark, black Akumas. Aka black butterflies." She answered instinctively. He was startled by an answer.

Marinette clapped a hand over her mouth. "Sorry! I did that on instinct alone! Oops!" He looked up and saw Marinette's famous hair stand up straight in shock.

"Hehe... What's your name?" She changed the subject. "Cole. What about yours?" Marinette thought back to when Ladybug told him she knocked him out. "Marinette...." She whispered.

"What was that? I didn't quite catch that." He said. "Marinette...." She said a bit louder this time. "Again, please?" He said. "Mari-"

"That girl is surprising, isn't she?" Felix asked. "Aah! F-Felix! Y-You scared me!" She jumped.

He sighed. "Just don't get in my way." He said. "A-Alright." Marinette stuttered. "I'm sorry for Marinette. She tends to stutter too much. Let me handle this. Go back to class." He ordered Marinette.

When she got back to class she layed her head down and sighed. "Girl? Are you alright? You look exhausted." Alya observed. "No. I'm not alright. I tried to help Felix with the kid who turned into an Akuma and blew it!" She said.

"Ah! I see! Let Alya handle this!" Nino said. "Nino!? You were listening in on our conversation!?" Marinette asked startled. "Of course. You guys are my friends and I wanted to see if you were alright as well." He explained.

That's when Felix walked in with Cole.
