Sudden Light
By Dante Gabriel Rossetti
I have been here before,
But when or how I cannot tell:
I know the grass beyond the door,
The sweet keen smell,
The sighing sound, the lights around the shore.
You have been mine before,—
How long ago I may not know:
But just when at that swallow's soar
Your neck turn'd so,
Some veil did fall,—I knew it all of yore.
Has this been thus before?
And shall not thus time's eddying flight
Still with our lives our love restore
In death's despite,
And day and night yield one delight once more?

Busted Gulch Vol. 14 Update:
Bella explained the situation to Jacob, and he insisted on going after her. She tried to convince him otherwise, but it was all for naught. Jacob thanked her for everything and gave Bella a kiss on the cheek. Once they were done talking, he urged his horse and went to the river. Josie helped Jhonny blocked the doors on the ship with stray barrels before Denver started his attack. Once that finished, they were going to try to rescue the crew. But there was a bilge hatch, sealed with tar and sacking. Josie was able to break the hatch but right before, Jhonny told her to hold her breath because the pungent smells were terrible.
Thank you MysteriousDryad for another great update!!

The Aim Was Song
By Robert Frost
Before man came to blow it right
The wind once blew itself untaught,
And did its loudest day and night
In any rough place where it caught.
Man came to tell it what was wrong:
It hadn't found the place to blow;
It blew too hard—the aim was song.
And listen—how it ought to go!
He took a little in his mouth,
And held it long enough for north
To be converted into south,
And then by measure blew it forth.
By measure. It was word and note,
The wind the wind had meant to be—
A little through the lips and throat.
The aim was song—the wind could see.
I would like to leave you with a challenge for this week. I challenge you to choose to perform at least one act of random kindness every day. We never know what those around us are going through and a single moment of kindness can change someone forever and each and everyone of us has the power to spread kindness freely and generously. The world needs some light, let's choose to be that light!!
I hope everyone has the best week EVER and keep those pens and keyboards flying!!
Cheers from you Mystres of Chatter
