A Message from MystresMyna
This week's Chatter marks my 4-year anniversary as your Mystres of Chatter. When I first volunteered to help at the Pub, I had no idea what I would be doing, I just knew I wanted to help promote this magnificent poetry community. Everyone I met here was (and still is) kind, supportive and welcoming.
This last year has been trying, to say the least, but I am thrilled to say that in the past four years I have not missed posting one Chatter. (I know I shouldn't toot my own horn, but I am pretty proud of this accomplishment, LOL.) In the last four years I have watched the Pub grow and I must say it has been an absolute pleasure and I look forward to bringing you the Chatter for many more years.
I want to send out a HUGE thank you to BillTemple1957 for allowing me to join the Poets Pub team, believing in me and always encouraging me. He has become a true friend and I am honored to work at his side. I would also like to thank @MysteriousDryad, she has been a huge help here at the Pub and we are so grateful she has joined our team!!
Finally, I want to thank ALL of YOU, our Pub family. In a world that can be crazy and dark, it is all of you that help protect our little slice of heaven. The Pub truly is a light in the darkness and that is because all of you!! I love you all!!
Cheers,
Myna
Dirge in Woods
By George Meredith
A wind sways the pines,
And below
Not a breath of wild air;
Still as the mosses that glow
On the flooring and over the lines
Of the roots here and there.
The pine-tree drops its dead;
They are quiet, as under the sea.
Overhead, overhead
Rushes life in a race,
As the clouds the clouds chase;
And we go,
And we drop like the fruits of the tree,
Even we,
Even so.

Busted Gulch Vol. 14 Update:
Bruce tried to snag Annie away, but she pushed him back. Annie told him that she doesn't like guns or killing and that she didn't feel like herself anymore. She went to the newspapers office for CG when they finished reclaiming the LB. Jacob and Josie went to the hotel to relax after the long day. Jujube informed him about what had transpired at the hotel while he was away. Jacob headed to the Saloon once he was done talking to Jujube. He saw a man stalking after Mary Sue and he is interceding, cutting the man off. 3Gun got some facts from him men before he went to see CG, looking for some more information.
Thank you for another amazing update MysteriousDryad

November Night
By Adelaide Crapsey
Listen.
With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp'd, break from the trees
And fall.
Well we have had another incredible week here at the Poets Pub!! I want to close out by welcoming all of our new members, we look forward to reading your contributions and wishing everyone a safe and productive week!!
And remember to keep those pens and keyboards flying!!
Cheers from you Mystres of Chatter
