Desert
Shallow sky of my shivering mind;
Endless pictures vanishing in the dust;
There it stands in the deserted land;
Mirage can be real.
To think of reality, I've lost my mind,
Long before the sand storm.
The wind brought the faded dreams;
It hurt my eyes.
I kneeled down, I'm scared.
I closed my eyes, I'm still scared.
There is no thunder, there is no rain.
This is the open land of bright vain.
They say it's cold, at night; I quivered.
Hunted down, my survival in jitter.
I squealed upon the death of dead.
This is a long night indeed.
The empty ways around the air,
I breathe the same.
To have and been, lost in the desert,
I made a quite day.
