4. Competition
The boys have known (y/n) for a while now, a week to be exact, and I would be lying if I said they haven't grown fond of her.
It was a sunny Monday morning, and the boys were going to (y/n)'s house. Yeah, they haven't taken her to the Mansion yet, because if there's one thing They've learned, it was that (y/n) had one serious grudge against Slender.
Because of that, they have been very careful when talking about anything Slender-related.
They didn't know why she hates him though.
Anyways, where was I? Oh yes!
The boys were casually walking through the forest, on their way to (y/n)'s house...
"Race ya to (y/n)'s house!" Toby said and ran off.
"No way! I'm gonna be there first!" Hoodie said.
"Bull! I'm faster than both of you!" Masky said.
And they're off. The three Proxies sprinted through the forest, determined to be there first.
They broke through the thick barrier of trees and Masky tackled Toby to the floor, trying to slow him down. Masky stood up and tried to run, but Toby then grabbed his ankle, making him fall flat on his face. Hoodie ran past them, laughing triumphantly, and sprinted over the road. Just as he was about to step off the road, he was hit by truck. Luckily, he was a Creepypasta, so he was just left with a really big bruise.
The boys managed to get up and run to (y/n)'s house, and all three of them collided with the door.
It was locked.
Masky, who was in front, got squashed against the door by Hoodie, who was trapped between Masky and Toby. They untangled themselves from the door an each other and stood on the porch, thinking.
~Hoodie's PoV~
"Maybe she's at school. Or out killing. Didn't she mention something like that?" I said, scratching my head.
"Probably. Can always go heck, right?" Masky said.
I walked off to the direction of (y/n)'s school. At least I remembered that.
"Hey, maybe we should pose as normal guys. I wonder if (y/n) will recognise us." I said after a while.
"What? Did you seriously just say that? Who are you and what did you do to Hoodie?" Masky said.
I snickered. "Oh, come on, Tim. It's basically just acting" I said
"Do you remember the last time we tried acting? Our best friend went nuts and shot you." he said
I stayed silent.
Masky sighed.
"Fine, but if another faceless dude pops up and makes our friend try to kill it, I'm blaming you." he said.
I laughed.
Even though we are insane killers, we are still just a bunchof teens why just want to have fun.
I became aware of the fact that Toby hasn't said anything this entire time. I looked around, searching for the little dude.
Masky noticed and turned as well. Toby wasn't there.
Crap.
~Toby's PoV~
I wonder why the door is locked...
I walked around the house, looking for a way in. Surprisingly, the back door was unlocked. Either she forgot it, or someone else opened it...
*Gasp!* she could be in trouble!
I walked inside, searching for anything to prove she could've been kidnapped. Hmmm... let's see, her bed is made, so she wasn't kidnapped while asleep.... there were dishes in the sink, so she had breakfast as well... her books are missing...
Oh no! It's worse than I thought! She went to school!
I ran out of the house, and into Masky.
"Oof! Oh, Hey Masky! Gotta go! (y/n)'s at school! We gotta go help her!" I said and turned to run again, but Masky grabbed me by the collar of my shirt.
"Did we forget something today, Toby" Masky said slowly, as if talking to a little kid.
"Yeah! You forgot me!" I said.
Hoodie snorted "He ain't wrong"
"Toby, why would (y/n) be in trouble?"
"Well, she has a bunch of disorders, so she's bound to have bullies, right? I mean, if they were that bad to me, imagine how they would be to (y/n)."
They stayed silent for a moment.
"Shit, he's right. Toby you crazy little genius! Let's go." Hoodie said.
We sprinted towards (y/n)'s school, in sync, as if some type of switch had been flicked.
Don't worry, (y/n), I won't let those bullies hurt you...
~Your PoV~
Today was peaceful, so far. I was sitting under a tree at school, sketching and listening to my music. I wonder if I remembered to tell the boys that school started again today... Oh well, they're smart, they'll figure it out.
I hummed along to Waiting for the End by Linkin Park, oblivious to the three teenage boys approaching me.
I was snapped out of my happy state when I was suddenly grabbed be the collar of my shirt and lifted up so high that my feet dangled a few inches from the ground. I was met face to face with dirt brown eyes and sandy blonde hair. Shit, Mark is back.
I squirmed and clawed at his hands. His friend, Connor and Seth were behind him, Seth snickering and Connor looking away, trying to look bored.
"Let me go you asshole!" I yelled.
"Ha! I'm surprised you're still here, freak." Mark said.
"Put me down!"
"Or what? You're gonna hurt me?" he mocked.
A voice spoke up from behind me, one I definitely recognized, but surprised to hear.
"No, but we will"
Hoodie.
~Masky's PoV~
When we finally reached (y/n), she was being picked up by her shirt. We took our masks off to 'blend in', and I hated every second of it.
"-me down!"
"Or what? You're gonna hurt me?"
Just when I opened my mouth to say something, Hoodie spoke.
"No, but we will." he said.
The blonde turned his gaze towards us and smirked, but didn't let (y/n) go. I walked towards the douche and punched him in the face, making him drop (y/n). The Hoodie and Toby came from behind (y/n) and approached the other two.
"Now, are we gonna do this the easy way," I said
"Or the hard way?" Toby said.
"If I were you, I'd choose the easy way." Hoodie said.
The three bullies bolted.
Cowards.
I turned to (y/n).
"You okay? Did they hurt you?" I said.
She looked somewhat surprised.
"Yeah.... did you guys forget something?" she asked.
"Yeah! They forgot me, earlier!" Toby said.
(Y/n) giggled. "No, silly, I meant your masks."
"Oh, we took it off to blend in. I'm regretting my own decision though..." Hoodie said.
"Whoa, whoa wait, are you actually telling me you suggested you take your masks off? That's so... unexpected..." she said
"I had the same reaction" I said.
She laughed and inspected us for a second, then went back to her spot, calm and happy, as if nothing happened.
It's sad how used to this she is. Is this how Toby felt? Toby was lucky, he had a mom to homeschool him. (y/n) has no one, forced to go to this hell of bullies and assholes.
Don't worry (y/n), I'll never let them hurt you again...
~Your PoV again~
I looked at the boys for a few seconds, taking in all the details. I imagined them so differently... but I'm glad I'm wrong. They're actually kinda cute.
Masky had dark brown eyes the same shade as his hair, dark rings under them, and a roundish face. Hehe, we have baby faces!(XD).
Toby had hazel eyes which were also ringed in black... I wonder if they get enough sleep. He also had a painful looking gash in his cheek.
Hoodie had short brown curls and green eyes. Unlike the other two, he didn't have those black rings under his eyes. He had a really cute smile though...
Uh, pretend I didn't think that.
What am I doing? I'm not the type of girl who gets distracted by a guy's looks! Okay, that's a lie.
I shook my head and sat down against the tree.
"You sure you're okay?" Toby asked.
"Yeah, don't worry. We'll kill him later." I said casually.
The boys stayed silent, probably because I'm acting so casual about this.
~Time skip, cuz I'm lazy! XD~
It's surprising how fast school passes when you have three teenaged killers keeping an eye on you. Right now, we were walking to my home. The boys
were doing what any male does when in close proximity with a female: trying to impress her.
Toby was telling me a story of the time he took out a family of six by himself without getting caught. Sweet, but I once took out a house filled with college students having a party. Sure, they were drunk, but there were like fifty of them.
Hoodie was staying close to me, insisting he was this close for just in case something happens, like someone tries to shot me. With Toby on my right,
Hoodie on my left, and Masky close behind, I felt like those celebrities who were constantly followed by bodyguards. It's kinda cool, actually.
When we finally reached my home, I told the boys to wait in the living room while I change out of my uniform. I got dressed in a (f/c) hoodie, black leggings, and (f/c) converse.
I bounded down the hall, catching the boys' attention and smiled at them excitedly.
"Let's go get that bully!"
