Chapter 53
YOURE NOT READY
---------
"Someone is gonna come looking for you, and when they do, we'll grab them too." He pressed his face against the bars, eyeing the teen maniacally. "Hell is going to learn their lesson for sending teens to do their dirty work."
-----------------------
Craig: I'm gonna go looking for Evan, if I don't update you guys in one hour, get help
Tyler: whatever, stop overreacting
----
Craig: GUYS
Craig: HELP ME
Craig: THERE WAS A VAN AND SOME CREEPY DUDES AND I HEARD THEM TALKING AND NOW IM BEING CHASED
Tyler: stop, we get it, we were dicks last night, stop it
--
Tyler: Craig?
Jonathan: he's not serious, is he?
Marcel: he hasn't texted again in three hours, he's either a really good actor, or something happened to him and we did nothing
Brian: oh shit, but why target both of them?
Brock: what if whoever took them is gonna come after us next?
David: oh my god you're right, we're their friends, Jonathan is Evan's ex boyfriend, what if they want us too
Jonathan: stfu David, no one is coming for us, they're playing a prank on us, chill out
Marcel: you don't know them, they could be wanted criminals, I honestly wouldn't put it past them
Tyler: are we seriously accusing our friends of being criminals right now? That's just sick
Tyler: why don't we all just go to their house and see what's up
Marcel: that sounds cool
Brock: yeah I'm down
Jonathan: sounds good
David: yeah
Brian: yeah I'll come I guess
Lui: I have no plans anyway

"Oh, look here, we got the two wardens. I gotta ask, where are your prisoners?" He smirked, leaning on the back of the chair, which he was sat backwards in as he watched the two guardians.
"Very funny, Slut-ton, but I'm much more interested in how many people you slept with to get in touch with a DeathLynch?" Evan joked bitterly, rolling his eyes at the demon in front of him.
"I'd watch what you say, Ev, because in a matter of moments, we'll have the whole crew right here in this room. And that's when your attitude could get you in trouble." The demon threatened, standing up from his chair and walking towards Evan's cell bars, which Evan met him at as best he could because of the chains.
"Well, if you have been tailing me for as long as you say, you should know that I'm always trouble. By the way, I like your touch of possession." Evan spoke in a threatening tone, his eyes narrowed while he watched Sutton's every move while keeping an eye on the unconscious Craig in the next cell.
"Oh, did you? I thought you might, its kind of hard to get into a pizza delivery guy's head while he's going sixty on the highway."
"Only sixty? Even Craig can posses people going at a faster pace than that."
"You've got a lot of nerve, you know that? That's a real refresher, to be honest, usually all the guardians are bland and boring, too busy following orders."
"The others?" What did the other guardians have to do with this?
"Oh right, I forgot how Hell works, they don't tell you anything. Well, let me fill you in, you're gonna die. That's how it works, we get the guardians, get the assignments, knock up the guardians then take out the humans. It's routine."
"What? None of them have been successful?" It made sense now why none of them had ever come home.
"Nope, not at all, each one of them has been right where you are, helpless to do anything, and each of them has curled up on that cold concrete floor. And finally, right when they're about pass out, we give them their last mental image, and you what that is?"
"I don't care."
"It's watching their favorite assignment get his brains blown out."
"Intense."
"Oh, come on, Evan. You know you'll be upset when you see that you can't save your precious Jonathan, and to know that the second you close your eyes, he'll be nothing but a pool of blood next to you."
"That's not gonna happen."
"Oh right, of course, I forgot, you're some kind of superhero! One of the first teenage guardians, you're right. You are totally going to stop us." The demon replied sarcastically, mockingly bowing to him.
"Bite me, bitch." Evan snarled, just as the door opened and the two DeathLynches walked right in through the door, ushering the humans inside.
"Evan? What the hell is going on?" Tyler asked, staring at the passed out Craig and the way Evan was glaring at the guy in front of him.
Giving one last angry look at the demon, Evan rolled his eyes and went back to sitting against the wall.
"Just your typical kidnapping, Tyler. Don't take it personally."
"Seriously? You're calm during a kidnapping, too? What kind of psychopath are you?" Jonathan snapped, tugging on Evan's nerve.
"The kind of psychopath who's gonna get you out of here." Evan retorted, wishing Sutton hadn't used such a strong willpower possession on Luke, since it obviously was still rubbing off on Jonathan.
"Yeah, right, like you can do that." Jonathan said. Everyone else glared at him.
"Seriously, Jonathan, shut the fuck up, you're not helping here." Marcel growled.
"It's fine, not his fault, is it, slut bag?" Evan jabbed at the demon who had gone back to sitting back in his chair, his legs wrapped around the back of it once again.
"Aww, I thought we were friends, Evan. Did you completely forget that great conversation we had?"
"You know what? How about you just shut the fuck up and tone down that damn possession, it's getting on my nerves."
"Oh is it now, then I should definitely tune it up."
"Oh come on, is it really you? The slut of Hell?" Craig groaned from the ground, barely waking up.
"Oh Craig! Great to see you, sad that you missed my last party though, it was killer."
"Shut the fuck up."
"Ugh, Evan. Didn't your parents teach you any manners? Oh wait, that's right. They're-"
Somehow, Evan managed to grab the demon's throat, his eyes flashing red, but he let them. He was so sick of trying to hide it, it had to all come out eventually, didn't it?
Sutton grabbed Evan's outstretched arm and slammed it against one of the bars.
Evan yelped in pain, pulling his arm back.
Sutton rubbed his neck with his hand, smirking. "Wow, you're feisty, I like it. And to think, we've just been going after demons all this time, when really we should've been going after your kind."
"Wait, what? Evan, what's he talking about?" Craig asked, taking in what Sutton had said.
Evan was silent, he didn't want to say it, he couldn't bring himself to say it. He didn't want it to be true.
"Can someone fill us in? What is this about demons?" Tyler demanded.
"Craig's a demon." Evan said quietly, but loud enough for his friends to hear. "It sounds crazy, but it's true."
"Evan, you're a demon too, you know that right?" Craig was confused, he didn't know what Evan wasn't telling him.
He shook his head. "No, Craig, I'm not. I'm sorry, I should have told you earlier but I couldn't find the time and then everything happened, and I'm sorry. But, I'm not a demon. Well, that's a half-lie, actually."
"What are you saying?"
"I'm half angel."
