It was titled a fantastical place, where many wanted to work. It was known for it's "wonderful and useful" inventions. Not it's main project. And so no one knew. They couldn't.

Only the ones who could be trusted. And nobody was.

The creator.

Everyone trusted him however.

He was the boss after all. It was his project.

None knew of his secret project, only known by his son.

He was the apprentice. A helper. A pawn...

And then, an accident struck.

Leading to the death of the creator.

Years later, "the apprentice" had finally became the boss.

And so the project continued.
