Taehyung's POV

Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe I should've just up and left. Maybe I should've done a lot of things, yet here I am laying in bed with this beast of a man spooning me.

I'm mean, I don't mind that he is pressed up against me, shirtless, and breathing down my neck. It's the fact I'm laying on my left side. I have pain tears falling down my face yet I don't make a sound. Honestly, I think it would be bad both ways. If I was laying on my right side his leg will still be wrapped around my waist just like it is right now.

I felt him pull me in closer and took in a deep breath of my scent. He's stronger than I thought and I had him on high standards.

I gently closed my eyes when an alarm went off. I felt Jungkook lean over me to turn off his alarm clock. He stretch and made his way off the bed. I too started to get up by rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

"Good morning." He says to me. I just hum in reply. I hardly slept since I was in pain all night. He noticed my discomfort and asked me.

"Are you ok?"

I shook my head. "No, my hip hurts." He came up to me and place his hand under my face. "Which hip?" I pointed to my left one. He curses under his breath. "You were laying on it all night weren't you?"

I nod. He sighs. "Why didn't you tell me? I would've let you reposition yourself."

"You were already asleep and I didn't want to disturb.....your lion. Anyways, you would've just place your leg around my hips again so it wouldn't have mattered."

"Next time tell me when you're hurting because of me. I don't want to hurt you with and without knowing it." He kissed my forehead but I backed away from it. He just looked sad but quickly hid it. "I need to shower before I leave, IU should have breakfast ready by now so why don't you head to the dining room."

He went into his bathroom but I didn't get out of bed until I heard the water running. Kissing is still off limits for him. I don't care if it's on the cheek or hand, his lips are not touching any part of my body.

Once I reached the dining room I was able to smell breakfast. Saliva instantly filled my mouth.

"Good morning, Taehyung." IU sang a little. I smiled. "I have a question. Why do you guys wake up so early?" It is currently 7a and so much has already gotten done.

"Well, only Jungkook, Sana, and I are normally up first. We like to get ready early so we can do our own thing for two hours. I make breakfast. Jungkook does whatever he does. I don't ask Sana. As long as you wake up by 10a, Jungkook doesn't care how long you sleep."

I nod. "You think Jungkook will let me go to your nightly patrols?" I asked as I drank a glass of orange juice.

"Probably not, but it wouldn't hurt to ask him." IU started to place the platters in their proper spots.

"You don't have to. You need to ask me and me says no. End of discussion." Jungkook walked inside the kitchen wearing gray sweatpants and a black hoodie.

"Why not!" I asked. He can't keep me here forever.

"Because, by the end of our day together, you'd be too tired to join us." Jungkook smirked at me.

"How do you know my stamina won't keep up with you!?" I argued.

"Trust me, you won't be able to keep up. When I start I don't stop until I get tired, and I don't." He was now in my face with that same stupid smirk. I got up on my tiptoes to get on his level, I didn't but I could've.

"I have enough energy to last a whole day! I can keep up with anything you put me through!"

"*cough* not to interrupt your....conversation, but we are ready to eat." IU pulls out Jungkook's chair before sitting in her spot.

Tzuyu had pulled my chair and sat in her spot as well. Jungkook moves his eyebrows up and down. "We'll see who much you can handle when we're alone." Then he sat down.

I limped to my seat when Jessi spoke.

"Sounds like you two are planning to get it on. So I take it your relationship is getting better?"

"Get what on? Sex? Not even close. He wants to do stuff with me around town." I started to eat my breakfast which consisted of pancakes/waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice, and fruit salad.

IU smiled at Jungkook. "That's sweet."

~~After Breakfast~~

3rd POV

"So what do you have in mind? Better not be dinner and a movie." Taehyung had took his time to get ready for the day so doing something so boring is just not right.

Jungkook laughs at his queen's words. "You can't complain with what we do. You can't do much with your crippled legs anyways." He rubs my head before opening the car door.

Taehyung looked down as Jungkook closed the car door behind him and made his way to the driver seat.

I hate when he keeps bringing up my insecurity. It's not like I'm completely useless.

"Alright, ready to go?" Jungkook asked as he started the car.

I just turned away from him and tried to get out of the car, the thought of going on a date left my mind, but he had child locked the door. "Get me out of here." I glared at him.

"Why? You tired already?" He chuckles at his little joke but quickly stops when I looked away.

"What's wrong?" He sounded genuine and concerned so I told him.

"You called me a cripple. Just like everyone else in this fucking city. I don't get tired, I don't become lazy, I'm not useless......I'm just in pain. You're supposed to my mate yet you treat me like everyone else, an advantage." Taehyung sat back into his seat and kept his glace away from Jungkook.

Jungkook frowned by his words, now feeling bad about what he had said. He meant it in a cute way, sincere even. He just doesn't want his mate getting hurt doing something so dangerous. Seoul at night is deadly.

Staring at the steering wheel, Jungkook spoke. "If want to stay here, then we can. I didn't mean to make you feel bad, or sad. I just don't want you to come with us during our patrols. I just got you."

Taehyung scoffs. "You make it seem like I'm property."

"Or someone I care about."

Taehyung turned his head to face Jungkook quickly, maybe too quickly. He stared at him as Jungkook continued to face the wheel. "Do you still want to stay here?"

Feeling a bit bad for what he started, Taehyung thought of a good ice breaker. "I'll decide once we get there." He crossed his arm in mock anger. Jungkook smiled. "Then let's go."

Driving to their destination, the car was silent with occasional talking, both wanted to know as much as possible of the other.

"So what's up with your lion?" Taehyung asked.

Jungkook just swallowed his saliva before parking the car. "We're here. I'll get your door."

Taehyung whined a bit once Jungkook closed his door. So close.

"I hope this isn't too tiring." Jungkook said. Taehyung was so busy looking at Jungkook during his question that he didn't get to see where he had taken them. Jungkook also reversed so looking out the window did nothing.

Taehyung's eyes widened. "An amusement park!?"

Jungkook smiled. "Yeah, it's supposed to let out your inner child. At least that's what my eomma used to tell me. Worked for me, I just want to see your smile again." He explained.

Taehyung just stared at the happy bunny. "I can only do so much here. Walking will be limited too."

Jungkook did a single hop before speaking. "That's where my strength comes in. I'll carry you every time you get tired."

"You picked this place on purpose." Taehyung squinted his eyes in annoyance.

(If you don't know what I'm trying to explain it's this face (-_-) anyways back to the story)

"Maybe. So, do you want to go home now that we are here?"

Taehyung's eyes widened in shock. I forgot I said that and that he took it so seriously.

"One hour, you have this day for an hour."

Jungkook jumped in excitement before lifting Taehyung up and placing him over his shoulder. Taehyung watched as people around the parking lot stared at them. He blushed in embarrassment.

"Put me down you idiot! I'm not tired yet!"

Jungkook just kept his smile and ignored the tail that kept smacking his face. Was it on purpose or accident? He didn't know and didn't care.

Once they got to the ticket booths Taehyung had stopped struggling and just leaned against his hand as Jungkook took him to the booths.

"Just bracelets will be fine." Jungkook bought the all day bracelets and sat Taehyung down so the ticket master could place the bracelet on his wrist.

"I said an hour not all day."

"Trust me, once we start having fun an hour will pass quickly." Jungkook held Taehyung's hand and started walking.

"What do you want to do first?"

Taehyung just shrugged. "It may surprise you but I've never been to an amusement park."

Jungkook stopped in his tracks and turned the boy to face him, grabbing his shoulders so he couldn't look away. "You've never been to a place so fun before!? Ok now I have to take over this date all the way."

Jungkook pulled Taehyung everywhere. From different rides to different games. Taehyung enjoyed his time there. Being able to let loose as much as he could. After walking to the third ride, Jungkook had to carry him.

So far Jungkook won him a stuffed tiger, fish, and panda. He can't seem to lose, except when he had a tiny little girl play against him. That was the sweetest thing a grown man could do in Taehyung's book.

"That was nice of you." Taehyung said as they walked towards a food truck.

"Eh, it's too early for her confidence to be squished. Maybe in two years I'll take her on again." Jungkook shrugged.

And my high standards just went down. Taehyung thought.

"And what can I get you two tonight?" The truck owner asked.

Taehyung's eyes widened. Night!? How is it night already?

"...and Taehyung will want. Taehyung what do you want?" Jungkook's voice snapped him out of it.

"Oh uh. A pretzel and lemonade."

The man nods and left to complete their order.

"We've been here for over six hours!" Taehyung slapped Jungkook's arm.

"Was that supposed to hurt?"

"At least act like you got some damage!"

Jungkook laughed as he took their completed order and payed, with tip, to the man. Both started to walk to a picnic table set up.

"Well, I did say once we have fun time will go by fast. Here you go." Jungkook hands Taehyung his order while he eats his cheese corndog. Taehyung just glared but felt his heart melt when Jungkook's tail swayed in happiness to have such an unhealthy snack in his system.

Jungkook loved his cheesy corndogs. It's a luxury living with a very health conscious woman. IU if you couldn't guess.

His ears popped out of his head as he continued to eat his second corndog. They wiggled every time he took a bite.

"It's just a corndog. Why do you react this way?" Taehyung asked. He already finished his pretzel and half way done with his drink.

"I haven't had this in so long. IU wants to make sure we are all healthy. This is like a snack if I have done something good. I figured since I let the little girl have the pleasure of beating me I deserved the snack."

With rolled eyes, Taehyung smiled at him. "I guess you do." He rub his hands over Jungkook's hair, who in returned smiled into his bite of the corndog.

"I think it's time to leave. I'm getting tired and your patrol starts in a couple hours." Taehyung threw away his and Jungkook's trash. "Ok, but one more ride."

The ferris wheel. Getting into their own little cubicle. Seeing Seoul with so much light brought a smile to Taehyung's face. Once the wheel got to the top it stopped for them.

"I never thought Seoul could be so beautiful." Taehyung's eyes had stars in them. 

Jungkook stared at Taehyung with love in his heart. All day he saw him smile, heard him laugh, and watched him have fun. What he hadn't seen was his heartwarming side. Looking at him with stars, Jungkook couldn't look away. He seemed so, innocent. How could anyone hurt such a soul?

"I brought this for you." Jungkook handed a small box to the latter.

Taehyung looked away from the scenery and gentle took the box. When he opened it he saw a chained bracelet with the word, 'Jeon' attached to it. This was a bracelet all the lioness wore including Jungkook. He felt, included now.

"I just hope it fits." Jungkook sounded a bit skeptical but had a bit of hope in his voice.

"Well, we'll see when you put in on me." Taehyung handed the bracelet to Jungkook who gladly put it on him. It did fit after major adjustments.

The two just stared at each other. "Thank you."

Jungkook smiled. "You're welcome." Their faces slowly grew closer. Jungkook placed one hand at Taehyung's cheek, bringing him closer.

Their lips almost touched when the wheel stopped and the door opened. They pulled away and quickly got out of the cubicle.

Taehyung had a blush on his face while Jungkook just chuckled. "Let's go home."

Home. I can't believe I have a home again. "Yeah, let's go home." Taehyung got close to Jungkook who wrapped his arm around his waist, keeping him close. Now side by side, the two made their way to the parking lot. Their tails wrapped around each other.

If only they noticed that many eyes watched them during their time in the park. If only they could sense the danger that was coming to them. And it was coming fast.

Damn that's a lot of words. I couldn't stop myself with this chapter, it felt too sweet to end it at 1,000 words. Just a little fluff before some angst happens, I guess. I'm not good with angst.
