Okay, Snowflakes, here's what's about to go down:

I like Pokemon. I love it. Some might even go as far as to say I have a slightly (incredibly) disturbing obsession with it, particularly with the (not so new) video game, Sword and Shield. So, this is just going to be Sword/Shield one-shots, maybe with a few Sun/Moon crossovers because I watched the show, because that's just the world(s) I know best.

Some of these might be ___ x Reader, and I'll try to keep it as gender neutral as possible, unless the story calls for a specific gender. I'll also try to make the teams as customizable as possible, but most of the time I'll just put a filler Pokemon for my own sake of mind. Learn to just roll with it, because there's no way I can write a scene about a Wailord clambering into its Trainer's lap, or riding on a Joltik's back across the sky.

Other stories might be NPC x NPC (Ex: Leon x Raihan), which I'll definitely be looking forward to. Warning in advance: I'll be doing A LOT of stories with my favorite ships, just because I have more ideas for those than others. Heck, I might even use an OC of mine in some (I'll put their name/Pokemon/bio before the book if I use them). I'll give a heads up in the title of the chapter beforehand what it is. 

These also might not be romance stories. They might just be one shots about one character (Like Oleana, or Piers), or maybe their relationship with their family (Peony and Peonia). Or it'll be a friendly, platonic story only (Klara and Avery, perhaps). 

I might do multiple parts of one shots, but I'll try to limit it to 3 chapters, maximum. I know they might get long, and I'm sorry (my average word count for short stories is around 5-10k). I just don't want this to be a collection of a bajillion 10-word stories. Heck, I might even turn to making little random headcanons for the characters. It just depends on what I feel like doing at the moment.

You know what? I'll just put a list. It'll make things a lot easier for me and you guys in the long run.

- Fluff. The classic, cute relationship.
- Angst. A sadder story, but will most likely end happily because I'm not THAT depressing, and I hate leaving people on cliffhangers. Yes, even if it's on purpose; I just can't do it knowing I can finish the story and give it a proper ending.
- Platonic. A short story that has no spice, but hopefully will be interesting/funny to read.
- Toxic Breakups (between friends or lovers is mine to decide). I don't really need to explain this, do I? (I know this sounds like it falls into the Angst category, but these ones will be guaranteed sadness, so I think they deserve their own mention).
- Random Alphabets for the NPCs (Released once a month). Basically, for every letter of the alphabet, a question will be assigned to it, and the answers will be my personal headcanons for these characters!
- Reader x NPC. Basic Reader (you guys) in a relationship with a fictional character, because we're all thirsty for romance (and totally not because I'm alone). 
- (My) Existing OC x/& NPC. Basically a one-chapter fanfiction featuring my own original characters.
- NPC x NPC. Now we're getting somewhere spicy! This is where I get to celebrate the ships within the Pokemon universe. RAILEON/AVEDE FANS, LET'S RIDE!!!!
- A bundle of my Pokemon OCs thrown together into a mosh pit for some funny stories pre-Project: Titans story line.
- AUs (Alternate Universes)! Anything goes; no more Pokemon, genderbends, superpowers, Gym Leaders as stray cats, you name it! Let me know about some good ones I can use here: ----->
- I'm also TOTALLY down for Love Triangles, between readers, NPCs, OCs or all three.

RULES

- I DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN!!!!
No matter how badly you guys want it to happen, it won't. That means no smut, really bad substance abuse, regular/other forms of abuse, crazy violence or anything else like that. I'm making this (mostly) kid friendly, alright, so I don't need anything like this. There probably will be swearing, but I'm trying to break that habit, so I'll try to limit the cursing. Other than the occasional cuss, nothing's gonna happen. It's Fluffy McFlooferton from here on out. Until I start writing the angst one-shots, that is....

It's disgusting, it's weird, and above all, it just goes against my personal moral code. That means no Hop x Leon, no Sordward x Shielbert, etc. Just because Edgar Allen Poe got away with it doesn't mean I will.

- I'm NOT taking requests as of right now.
I think it'll be just a lot easier on me if I don't have to try and be perfect for everyone who reads the book. All these one shots will be my ideas, and my ideas only. Period, paragraph. Maybe that'll change later, but for now, you'll just have to stick with my crazy s—I mean ideas. (See, told you I was trying to break that habit).

- This book WILL NOT be updated frequently.
This is just a little side thing I've come up with after playing Sword/Shield for awhile. It's not going to be my top priority. If I really feel like updating, I will. Don't spam me in the comments about how badly you want me to update, because I won't. If you spam me, I'll block you. It's that simple. I'm one person, guys; I can't please everyone. If I could, I would have had straight-A+'s in school.

Questions You May Have

Will you be using OCs in these stories?
Possibly. I have quite a few Pokemon OCs, some of which you may know if you've read Project: Titans, so if I get the motivation, I'll use them. As main characters or side ones remains to be seen.

As far as other people's OCs go, no. I have nothing against them; I just don't want to interpret them wrong, and then have their creator come after me with a flip-flop for it. 

Will you ever take requests?
Truthfully, I'm not sure. The only reason why I'm not right now is because I might get A LOT of requests from you guys, and I'd feel really bad if I didn't get around to all of you. There is a limit to the chapters in a book, after all, and I have my own ideas too. 

Plus, most of the time when people request stories, (from what I've seen, at least), they just ask for an *insert character* x Reader/*insert character*  fluff story or whatever and give WAY too much creative freedom for the writer. If I end up changing this rule later on, I wouldn't be able to really work with this kind of prompt and would end up just publishing an idea I have in reserve. If you guys ever want something specific, MAKE SURE YOU MAKE YOUR REQUEST SPECIFIC OR I WON'T DO IT. 

This is all hypothetical of course, but just in case this rule changes sometime.

But, I won't not interact with you guys entirely. I might put a little poll on another A/N for this story asking for what kind of story you want next (angst, fluffy, friendly, etc.), ask you guys to vote on it via commenting on that particular category, and I'll try my hardest to release that genre of one-shot next.

How old will all these characters be?
For the most part, they'll all be the same age as I PERSONALLY see them in-game. So Piers/Leon/Sonia/Bede/etc. would all be in their early 20's, Hop and Marnie would be about 14, Melony/Kabu/Peony in their middle ages, and I don't really need to tell you how old Opal is if you have the game (for those of you who don't or forgot, she's 88). If they have actual ages, I'm sorry if I got them wrong. If I'm making them older and/or younger than usual, I'll let you know when I publish it.

What kinds of stories do you write the most of?
Here's how my motivation works: Either I listen to a song and I make a story that way, or I see what kinds of stories people like for the most part and I make more of them. I personally like action and funny stories, and I'm not great at really intimate romance, but if I put one on the platter and you guys eat it and ask for seconds, I'll get back in the kitchen. Ya dig?

Who is the Champion in these stories?
Since I don't read the manga for Sword/Shield, or whatever it's called in written format, I'll just make up random names and call it good. I won't go too into it, but if I'm writing a story post-game and it includes a Champion other than Leon or Reader, I might make up a random OC on the spot.

Yes, I know there's Gloria and Victor who are supposed to be the two female/male representations of the in-game Sword/Shield player, but I don't know them well as characters, so I won't be using them very often, and will very likely never use them at all.

Will you do any kind of Yandere!Character x Reader/NPC?
If I'm being entirely honest, I don't know what that is. I've heard the term thrown around before, but I don't know too much about it, and I don't want to misinterpret them or portray them wrong.

(Update: I now know what a Yandere is, and I am 100% on board with it! Though I will be putting many content warnings for it, just because it falls on the darker side of stuff I may write.)

A/N: I do have both the Sword and Shield video games, but it's been a while since I've played Sword (probably because I have a slight obsession with Avery from the Isle of Armor DLC), so if I misinterpret some of those characters, please tell me so I can correct my mistake. Thanks!
