Your memory is fuzzy. You hear the calming sound of the ocean waves.

"Hello? Are you ok? Can you hear me?"

The words echo in you head over and over again until you open your eyes. A (your partner) is staring at you worried.

" Oh! Thank goodness your alive!"
He/she exclaimed graciously.

'Ummmm.... Did a (partner) just talk to me?' I think to myself confused.

"Hey. Hey! Can you hear meeeee??"

(Partner) had apparently been saying that for a while when I snapped out my thoughts.
" Oh yeah." I told him/her.

"You just washed up on shore unconscious a while ago! I saved your life!" (Partner) told me.

"Wow" I thanked.

"Oh it's no big deal. I'm starting a rescue team! Do you want to join?" He/she hyperly asked.

"Really? How many people have you saved?" I asked I was so tired and half-asleep that I was dazily agreeing to everything.

"Ummmm... Well your the first... I've been at it for a few months but haven't done any good... But I did get this pin!" (Partner) said holding an oval shaped pin.

The top was red, the bottom was white, and it had wing-like patterns on the sides. I was starting to wake up some more.

"Where do you stay?" He/she asked me.

"Uhhhh... Ummmm... I- I can't recall." I say with a blurred mind.

"Oh no! You must have amnesia!" (Partner) yelled obviously very worried.

Now to think of it, I actually might. I can't think of anything that happened before washing up on the beach.

"We need to take you to a doctor now, (pokemon you are)!" He/she exclaimed. "Wait, did you just call me a (you)?! That's a pokemon!" I shouted.

"Exactly, That's what you are silly!" (Partner) replied with a small giggle.

I looked down to see paws and fur! I remembered if one thing, I was a human before!

" Do you remember your name at least?" (Partner) asked me.

I really couldn't, so I shook my head.

" Ok, hmmmm.... What should I call you... Oh! I got it!"

Or you could just forget about the "I forgot my name" part and read it as your own name

"I'll call you (name)! I think that has a nice ring to it, don't you?" (Partner) exclaimed.

"Hmm. Yeah, I kinda like that." I replied.

"Now that I have something to call you, what are you waiting for?! Lets go to town! Its this way" He/she shouted.

He/she started to run and then stopped and turned around to me.

"Oh, and by the way. My name is (partner)" (partner) said to me the turned back around and running. I followed.
