Synopsis:

Our young trainers find themselves together on Route five as Leaf reunites with another childhood friend of hers. Professor Oaks grandson and Red's intermittent rival, Blue Oak joins up with Leaf's posse. Together they discover a Day Care under the control of one of Team Love's Apostles, one who refers to herself as Penny Whisp. Her group are seeking a Meowth that was left behind by a trainer some time ago. Leaf confront's Penny and informs her that stealing Pokémon is wrong. The two commence in a showdown that nearly destroys the Day Care center in the process.

After losing Penny's battle and escaping from the Daycare. Leaf and the rest of the gang travel toward the underground in an attempt to rescue the kidnapped Pokémon. While there, they soon stumble upon Meowth's trail. Leaving golden coins for them to follow. The Trainers wander out towards Route six to stick to the path Penny left behind.

This winding road then leads them into the golden beach town known as Vermillion City. They learn they weren't the only ones who were searching for a missing Pokémon after they had stumbled upon a rather lowly, well dressed gentleman wearing a suite, tie and a top hat. He called himself the Chairman of a local Pokémon club he operates. The man proceeds to feed them information that confirms the evidence Meowth left behind and that Penny had retreated within town to steal his Pokemon in the process.

What's even worse, Leaf, Red and Blue learn that their pal Yellow has gone missing in the middle of their conversation. Something attracts their gaze toward a mysterious ominous light that increases with intensity. Something out of this dimension has the group questioning these disappearances for good reason. The S.S. Anne it seemed, was the golden ticket to solving this mystery. Little did they know that after boarding the ship. They would discover an ugly truth that would change their view of Team Rocket forever.

Wow what a journey it has been to nearly cross fifty chapters within four volumes. It's preposterous but it's amazing at the same time! Thank you all for sharing my story in your reading lists. Liking and favoriting this book really helps me get boost up the rankings. I've never seen a book like this do so well. Especially since it's my first fan-fiction book ever written on this site. Currently, we are sitting at 8,205 reads, 314 upvotes, and 1k comments.

I have all of you to thank for this book's success, without it, I wouldn't be where I am at today. I'd probably be slugging away on these chapters like normal but probably wouldn't have gotten nearly as much statistics without your guys' help and sincere interest in my work.

I would like to give a quick shoutout to @Latios25 for being so amazing and supportive of this book. He read all the way toward Volume 5 and I gotta commend him for his attentiveness. It's not easy reading chapters in books haha! Especially mine that go at there own pace.

Now onto the story, Leaf has grown but she is still a basic trainer, still learning her way through the Pokémon world along with her friends has been everything she needed in her endeavor to grow. But you can tell she still has so much to learn. Which is not an issue, there is much more for her in this world to explore and I think the chemistry between her, Red and Blue shows how dedicated she can be and learn alongside them. No matter how difficult they might be at times; An example of one of those friends who fits the mold is Blue. The one who has the attitude of, I know everything, therefore I am better than you, type of attitude.

Blue is very politically incorrect when it comes to the decisions he makes and his feelings towards others. Case in point, Red strives to be the best Pokemon Trainer of all time but, there is still someone who tells him off at every chance he gets and makes fun of him for his failures and that is his rival Blue.

However, Blue is not one to care for others endeavors unless he's usually the one at the center who gets credit for it. He'll give you good advice when you need it and he's quite smart. However, there is a silver lining to how much wants to give. The more he focus's on himself; the more they, (The rest of his friends) try to distance themselves from him.

So far Blue's character growth seems to be pulling him in all the wrong directions. He makes decisions that makes you question his behavior and you start to wonder if he's one who truly cares as you have probably seen in this volume.

There is certainly more that I can talk about that could get you all thinking about how he'll play out in future volumes, but there is something not quite right about his understanding of Pokémon and how they play a role in the story he's in.

It seems there are many ways he could reconcile from all of these issues and conflicts he deals with. He prefers to be a lone wolf in his endeavors for strength. But we'll see how the rest of the Trainers can help keep him together as the story continues.

We have a new villainess in the story, Penny Whisp, there is more to come for her. She is rather mysterious about her ambitions and seems to play the role of a saint rather then someone with swift defiance who only goes with the norms of her organization. The Diamond of Three will be returning to cause conflict again in Leaf's world again and I am sure we'll see more dynamic with her and Blue once again.

"Absolutely, expect him to show up around the next few volumes, it will follow regular Manga format."

Will they get the bike voucher?

"They for sure will each get their own bike voucher."

How do you study for characters you write in your book?

Authors Answer—

"I'll usually research on Wikipedia if there are any traits or quirks that some of the Trainers have. I want to make sure I research as much as I can from the source material, such as; games, manga. These characters in this world interact much in the same vein of those two mentioned."

How do you stay on top of it during your busy schedule?

Authors Answer—

"There is no way I'll be able to have a consistent schedule with how on and off my job is. But when there is free time, I would like to dedicate at least a few hours to a chapter and usually post once or if time permits, twice a week."
