For the longest time I was numb to the touch of love.

For I'd been nearly choked to death by a "love" that was supposed to bring me to life.

Until the day I met you.

Colour was visible again.

The world got much bigger as I let go of the past "lover" who'd hurt me so.

I'm happy it was you who pulled me out of the pain.

Thanks to you I no longer feel ashamed.

I don't feel the welts in my skin anymore.

Now I can focus on these new feelings that are changing me inside.
