The Same Night

I poured myself a nice glass of chilled red wine in the biggest glass I could find, looking at my phone I had the urge to call but I thought no so I turned it off and placed in one of the kitchen drawers.

I'm not gonna lie I miss him a week we have been apart we have never spent no more than a week away from each other the longest time was two days and I can't even remember what that was for, I got on the couch getting all comfy I flicked the TV on switching from channel to channel I decided to stop on a gameshow.

I soon felt my eyes getting heavy I tried to keep them open but I couldn't 

Flashback Dream - The Night they met

"Brie I don't want to be here I just want to go home"

"You need to be with friends Nikki you can't keep sitting at home moping around plus you might a nice guy"

"I don't want to meet someone else I'm happy just sitting at home in my sweats and eating ice cream"

"I know you are hurting after everything that happened with John but I'm your sister Nikki, I am trying my best to cheer you up and I thought what better way than a night out with your friends"

"Fine but if I am having no fun by 11 I'm going home"

"Fair enough"

She dragged me in to the club where there was Sasha, Renee, Carmella, Becky, Bayley and Naomi I admit I was happy to see them they were my friends of course I was, I love them all but Renee is my best friend we met when she moved here from Canada and we instantly become friends.

I don't know how much time had past but I know it was crowded so I decided to go outside for some fresh air, the cool air hitting me it was like heaven against my skin, I glanced to my right to see a guy leaning against the wall on his phone he was  pretty tall about 6ft 4 or 5 his hair in a bun, he was wearing a tight black shirt his arms were huge, he glanced my way giving me a smile so I happily returned it. 

"Well aren't you the most beautiful thing I have seen tonight"

I looked to the left to see a blonde haired guy staggering towards me this is all I needed 

"So why is a beautiful such as yourself standing out here all alone?"

"Just getting some fresh air"

"How about I keep you company?"

"No thanks I'm fine"

"Come on I won't bite"

"I said no anyway I should getting back inside"

I turned round to go back inside but he  grabbed my arm 

"I am just being nice sweetheart, how about me knew get out and get to know each other a bit better"

"I'm not interested ok how many times have I got to say no for you to understand now let go of my arm you hurting me"

"What is it am I not attractive enough for you I hate little bitches like you think looks are more important, now your coming with whether you like it a not"

"I said no"

"Hey she said no"

I looked to see the guy I was staring at a couple of minutes a go was coming to my aid

"Well this as nothing to do with you pal so back off yeah"

"She's told you she ain't interested so why don't you just let go of her arm and go and bother somebody else"

"Who are you anyway her knight in shining armour?"

"No but your going to be knocked out if you don't let her go"

"If I don't"

"Do you really want to take that chance?"

He loosened the grip on my arm before letting go completely backing away, I looked at the tall stranger who just saved me from that weirdo

"Thank you for that "

"No problem I'm Roman by the way"

"Nicole but my friends call me Nikki"

"I take it you don't want to be here... I saw you being dragged in earlier"

"Yeah I came out of a tough relationship a few months and my sister thought it was time for me to start coming back out again, so what about you? are you here with anyone"

"Kind of the opposite to one my friends as just come out long term relationship a few weeks ago so I have been dragged out to try and cheer him up"

"I take it you don't want be here?"

"I wasn't in the mood to tag along but now I'm I happy I did"

I couldn't help but smile when he said that and just when I was about to say some a group of h=guys came outside

"Hey Roman we're going to next club come on"

"I guess that's me it was nice to meet you Nicole"

"Nice to meet you to and thanks again"

He walked off with his friends and then my friends walked out 

"What are you so smiley about?"

"Nothing just thinking how luck I am to have friends like you, lets move on to the next club"

We started walking I glanced back to see that he was still in sight he must of sensed that I was looking because he looked at me and we smiled at each other before walking in opposite directions.

My eyes fluttered open, looking at the clock it was after 1am I need to hit the hay, I poured the contents of my glass down the sink, I grabbed my phone from the drawer, thinking about the dream I just had I wish we could back to that.
