This September, YARomance is teaming up with WattpadESL to bring you an amazing contest that will make this month a little more fun for you.As some of you might know 1-2-3 Challenge is WattpadESL frequent contest but this time is a YA Romance special edition of it so tighten your seatbelts as we challenge you with yet another contest.

For this challenge, you need to choose one sentence from the two options. Next, you have to pick three words from the given word bank. Then write a short story using the chosen sentence and three words.

🔹️Each participant needs to pick only one sentence and only three words for each entry.

🔹️You can publish your story as a new book or in an existing short story collection.

🔹️One entry per person. No co-writing and no submitting an already existing story.

🔹️All entries have to be in English only.

🔹️How many words from the word bank can I use in the story?

You can pick only three words from the given word bank and use them to write the story. Those words can be repeated in the story and you need to have them in bold format.

🔹️How many times can I use those words in the story?

You can write and repeat the words as many times as you want as long as those words help you write the story.

🔹️Do I need to add the sentence in my story?

You don't need to add the sentence in your story but it would be great if you do. Your story needs to be centred around the sentence. The only thing you are required to add in your story is the three words you picked.

🔹️Is Fanfiction allowed for this contest?

Yes you can write a fanfiction story based on the prompt. In fact, you can write whatever genre you like as long as it follows Wattpad Content Guidelines.

🔹️What do I do to join this contest?

Yes, please follow these steps to enter our contest:

1. Pick one prompt sentence from the two options.

2. Pick three words from the word bank.

3. Write a story based on your picked prompt sentence and use the picked three words in that story.
