She just lays in bed all day and drinks while her stepfather sells drugs right at the their doorstep. At seventeen Chloe was forced to move from her home in New York to a small town in Northern Georgia. She hates it, but makes it work so that she can save up enough money to save her brother and herself from their messed up lives. Daryl Dixon's never had a stable home and has chosen to live the drifter lifestyle with his older brother Merle. Merle isn't the greatest influence and Daryl knows it, he just needed to get out of town away from his messed up childhood. When the two stumble upon a small town in Georgia they are taken in by Travis Scott who gives them a job and a place for them to stay. Chloe can't stand Daryl and Merle from the minute they step inside her house, and she has no problem voicing her opinion about the brothers. At each others throats constantly Chloe starts having intense feelings towards Daryl that she can't shake. He seems to always be there to save her in some way, and she is no damsel in distress. Both Chloe and Daryl are stubborn, but can't seem to stay away from each other. When the people around them start finding out about their relationship their lives become complicated, leaving Daryl with the only choice he can make. Its a choice that will break them both, but he knows it's the only way to save Chloe before its too late.…

On the outside Nore Mcguire was your average twenty-six year old High School Writing teacher. She had a lot of friends and didn't mind sharing a home with her eighty-year old Grandmother and her nine cats. But there was still something off. She sort of blames it on the stories her grandmother told her growing up about the night-walkers. Sometimes she thought she saw them, hoovering over people just before their death. She figured it was just her imagination and moved on, but that was until the new English teacher came to town. Jaime Donovan rode into town like a wild storm on a summer night. The ladies loved him. Nore found him attractive, sure, but he always found a way to get under her skin, and there was just something off about him. On the night of the Founders Day masquerade ball, Nore finds herself semi-plastered and dancing with one masked man the entire night. They danced and kissed the night away. She waited for her Cinderella moment to take place, but it never did, and that's because half the town was left for dead. And the next morning when the sun rose, things looked a little different. The drop off line at school was filled with many interesting people, and Nadine Clarke was definitely not one of them. Even if the rumor mill was buzzing about her husband ditching her and her two children, she was far from the talk of the town. There were others more interesting than herself like the leather jacket guy. She had her eye on him for a while, along with every other mom during drop off. He somehow always ended up in front of her every morning, until one afternoon when he ended up on the pick up line not looking so hot. His son had puked all over himself in the car, and leather jacket guy was beside himself. Nadine had seen that look from her ex before in the face of vomit, so she did what any mom would do and helped him clean up. Amidst the chaos of angry parents, Nadine introduced herself to find out his name was Lawson Bailey and he was a recently single father of one trying to figure out how to navigate divorce. Later that night at the bar Nadine waitresses at, she comes to find that Lawson was in the new band performing there. Upon realization she tripped over a chair leg and tumbled to the floor. Lawson jumped from the stage, stopping the show before it began, only to have Nadine's nervous stomach become upset all over him. Somehow their not so meet cute didn't deter the two from getting to know each other better, but when her son Jackson and his son Henry get into a fight at school, can both parents deal with the consequences of their children's actions while also falling madly in love with each other?…
