Grayson’s P.O.V

As soon as Prarthana leaves, Ethan gets up and goes into our room. I know that Ethan is thinking about why she didn’t hug him.  But I decide to leave him alone for a few hours. After about 3 hours of thinking about what to say to him I walk into our room and sit on my bed. I just start talking I know Ethan is not actually sleeping.

"I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about yesterday Ethan. You were busy editing next week’s video and I just wasn’t feeling it so I asked her to hang out with me. I told her you were at Matt’s place. I’m sorry again Ethan." I say waiting for a response when all he does is gets up and look at me for a few seconds

"It’s okay buddy. But please tell me next time. Okay?" He says looking away from me. I can tell he is still thinking about her.

"I know what your thinking. She isn’t falling for me Ethan. She friend zoned me yesterday." He suddenly turns to look at me with a little smirk, he really seems to like her.

More than I like her? Maybe not. But he still likes her. I then continue talking. "First when I went to pick her up, she asked for you. Then when were coming back she called me bestie." Ethan just looks at me trying to hide that smile from me.

"She is all yours buddy." I say and then feel a bit tingly inside, like I can’t believe what I just said.

Ethan gets up, pulls me up and brings me into a tight hug. And then pulls away to say " Thank you so much Gray." Then he walks into the bathroom as soon as he shuts the door the door bell rings.

I walk to open it to see Prarthana standing there with her open noodle hair. Whoa!

"Here’s your sweatshirt Grayson." She says handing it to me. I kinda wished she had kept it. Another sign that she doesn’t have feelings for me. I took it from her hand and said

"Thank you." Just as I was about to say something she cuts in and says "Can I talk to you outside?" I then nod and then walk out my house closing the door behind me.

"What’s gucci?" I ask, she chuckles and says.

"I feel really guilty for what I did a few hours ago. It wasn’t any of my business in the first place. I just didn’t think, I just walked out the door and knocked on yours. I’m really sorry." She says sincerely.

I look at her and say "You don’t have to be sorry Prarthana. I would want to know why my friend would hide something like that from me. It’s all good. No need to feel guilty about any of this."

"Thank you Gray." She says leaving. "Good night." Right as she is about to close the door she opens it again and says "That girls a bitch Gray. Karma will get her back." I laugh at what she just says and walk into my house. What a lovely girl.
