I stand in front of the mirror, checking out the outfit that I chose to wear for now. I was dressed in a black long-sleeve off-shoulder shirt with a dark blue and black checkered dungaree dress and navy stockings with my black combat boots.

I would prefer to wear a shirt and pants but I have to fit in with the 1960s society here.
Plus, I kinda dig this outfit. Not bad.
I look over at the bed, one small pile with clothes I wanted to keep and the other larger pile with clothes that either looked bad on me or didn't cover the patches on my body from my shoulders down. I had to cover them up to avoid being questioned and honestly, I didn't like the look of them and wanted to keep them hidden. I pick up the large pile of the stolen clothes, walking out of the bedroom and placing them on the couch. I make sure to not bend over too much since the dress stops just a little above my knees.
"Ever hear of Area 51? Roswell?" Five asks as he looks around the various images and clippings of extraterrestrial 'proof' that Elliot put up.
"Hot damn!" he gasps, grinning happily that his theories were correct. "See, I always knew we weren't the only ones! See, Eleanor thought my head wasn't screwed on tight, but... it's all true, yeah? UFO's, crop circles..."
"Five raises a brow when he sees me all dressed up, smiling before turning to Elliot to toy with him. "Well, the truth is out there." he walks over to me, reaching over gently to hold my waist and I blush at his softness. "How are you feeling (y/n)?" he hums softly and I shrug.
"Well, good considering we just avoided near death." I whisper, looking over at Elliot who was grinning.
"You're together! This is amazing! The truth of extraterrestrial beings right in front of us having companionship with one of us humans!" He walked over to us creepily and Five glares at him, closing himself off like an animal ready to attack as he slowly backs away from the grown man.
"We're not together-"
"-tell me, why is it always an anal probe?" Elliot cuts off Five and I giggle at the amusing scene.
"Any closer, and I'll melt your brain." I snicker as I look at The Boy glaring at the man who backs off and comments about the little "alien" needing his personal space. I move to sit down on the couch, watching Five ask about the contraptions Elliot built on the roof.
"Oh yeah, sure did. Yeah, I've been tracking anomalies in... in the atmosphere. Just waiting."
"For what?"
"For you. For all of you." Five narrows his eyes at Elliot in confusion.
"He's talking about your family. Klaus and Ben arrived first in 1960, then Allison in 1961, Luther in 1962, then Diego and Vanya on separate occasions to 1963 before we dropped here." I pipe up, explaining and Elliot gapes at me.
"How do you know that!?" I wiggle my fingers at him, amused at how easily I made him scared. Five chuckles softly at my antics, looking at the photos while Elliot told his story anyway.
"So, my family is alive. Shit. I think I stranded them here." The Boy suddenly turns to the man, quickly advancing on him as Elliot struggles to stay back from him to give him personal space. "Now you listen to me..." Elliot quickly dodges me and climbs over the couch when Five teleports to him as soon as he got behind the couch, colliding against his desk. "I got ten days to find them and save the world."
I quickly got up from the couch and went around to stop Five, grabbing his shoulder to pull him away from Elliot
"You're scaring him, chill." he takes in a deep breath before grabbing my hand and walking away to give the poor guy some space.
"Are you sure you're not together?" he asks us.
"...yes!" Five says and I look at him weirdly at the slight hesitation. "Nevermind that... Now, I need your help."
"You need... my..." Elliots eye's widen in excitement when he points to himself. "You know what," he quickly opens the draw next to him, eager to help his little alien friend. "I, uh... I always thought that this, uh, mugshot looked like arrival number four." Elliot pulls out a newspaper clipping passing it to Five and I chuckle knowing it was a picture of Diego in the nuthouse. He reads over the paper frantically before looking at me with an unamused face.
"I know, he's in the nuthouse."
"To be honest, I thought it would be Klaus." he shrugs, folding the paper and pocketing it. "But I was wondering when he'll end up there." I snort lightly and he grins at me.
"Wow, Five. Never knew you were such a loving brother."
"So then, that's helpful?" Elliot asks and we nod.
"You have no idea." Five quickly says before grabbing my hand.
"Thank you Elliot!" I yell out and he smiles, waving goodbye and I do the same before I see a flash of blue. I stumble forward on the set of stairs in the building and Five quickly catches me. "Five, you seriously need to warn me before you jump." I groan out, rubbing my head from the growing headache.
"Sorry (y/n)." He then steps back and looks me up and down, a grin on his face. "That really looks lovely on you." I spin around playfully, resting my hands on my hips.
"I know right? I do look good, don't I? Not a big fan of feminine stuff but I actually like this. You have great taste, considering that all you wear is a uniform that consists of booty shorts." I chuckle as he rolls his eyes at me before walking past me down the stairs and I rush after him.
"For your information, I chose this one specifically so we could match." Five winks, walking through the door and I look down at my outfit.
"Oh shit, he's right. We look like matching couples!" I screech out, before running towards the building doors. I reach a hand out and touch the handle, relishing the cool metal I could feel against my hand. "God, I never knew I would miss being able to feel things." I quickly open the door and run after Five who was waiting for me in the alleyway. He tilts his head, a small smile on his face as he chuckles when I had to jog up to him, the both of us walking together down the streets of Dallas.
I was just excited and in awe of the different things, location-wise and time-wise. The different people, clothing, stores and style. I was admiring everything around me, Five being amused as I pointed things out to him even though he had seen all this before. I was practically running circles around him as we walked down the path and-
"-easy (y/n)." he chuckles softly as he grabs my waist and pulls me away from bumping into someone, setting me next to him and I blush in embarrassment as I apologised to the person. "You need to watch where you're going." he holds my jaw, tapping my chin up before walking past me to ask someone the directions to the nuthouse while I stood there frozen. "Let's go." my breath hitches when he holds my hip and pulls me along with him, soon arriving at the nuthouse.
Five opens the door and lets me in first before he walks into the foyer, heading to the receptionist's desk to ask for his brother while I stood next to him. I looked around, smiling at the nurses who saw me and they grinned back warmly. I wave at a few elderly people here and there and they smiled back, Five and I soon heading to the waiting area to sit down and wait for our turn.
Even though I'm a huge introvert, I have to admit that I've missed being seen.
I sigh out happily, leaning back against the chair and I turn to look at Five who was smiling at me. "What?" I ask him.
"Nothing. It's just great to see you happy again." I grin back at him before staring up at the clock, swinging my legs back and forth.
I really wish I had my phone on me, my god.
I notice a few male nurses around my age huddled in a group, staring at me and whispering to each other. I look away, feeling a little uncomfortable when suddenly one of them walks up to me.
I have to admit, kinda cute but they can't beat Five.
He is in a league on his own.
"Hi there. I haven't seen you around before." He sits down next to me and I quickly look at Five who was glaring at the guy.
"Uh, yeah. I'm here to visit someone."
"Oh, who?" I look at Five again, unsure of what to do. I didn't want to be rude to this random guy but I didn't know how to tell him to just leave me alone nicely.
"Uh, my boyfriend's brother." I quickly point to Five with that lie, shifting closer towards him but it seems like the male nurse completely blocks out the word 'boyfriend'.
"That's really sweet of you. I know this must be a bit sudden but, I thought you were really pretty and I was wondering if I could take you out-" I shriek out in surprise when Five suddenly picks me up and sits me on his lap, his arms around my waist tightly and mine holding his shoulders as the boy gets startled.
"-did you not just hear my girlfriend? Back the fuck off." Five growls lowly and I blush red when he rested his chin on my shoulder, the dude apologising before running off. I see people look at us, especially the females as they all gossip to each other.
"Five-" I try to get out of his lap but he holds me still. "Can you let me go now-"
"-no." Five growls in my ear, my heart racing from his possessive grip on me.
"Everyone is looking." I hiss at him, turning my head to look at the possessive boy.
"Let them. Then they'll know not to go after what's mine." He growls, mainly aiming this at the group of boys and they scatter away.
His!?
What did he mean his!?
I squeal in surprise when I get lifted up, Five carrying me bridal style when we got called into a visitation room. "Five! Put me down!" He ignores me and I huff out, trying to wriggle myself out of his arms but he narrows his eyes at me.
"Behave-"
"-put me down-" I shriek when I suddenly get thrown over his shoulder, his hands holding my thighs tightly.
"Behave." he hisses one last time and I gulp, not wanting to push him any further as I let him carry me. I hold onto Five's blazer tightly in fear of falling but he holds me tight as we walked into a room and he finally sets me down on my feet.
"What was that all about!?" I exclaim at him with red cheek and he just shrugs, looking away and I notice his cheeks and the tips of his ears turning a faint pink.
Wait, was he jealous!?
Before I could say anything Diego walks through the door. "Five."
"Hey Diego." Five says and then he sees me standing next to his physically young brother.
"Who are you?" Diego narrows his eyes at me and I widen my eyes in shock. I look at Five and he had the same expression on his face as he looked up at me.
"Diego, it's me, (y/n)." I say after I turn back to him and he blinks before a huge smile braces his lips.
"I can see you properly now!" Diego walks over to me and quickly hugs me. I smile happily from his gentle hug, hugging him tight until he pulls back and leans down in front of me as he held my shoulders. "How did this happen? You're actually physical now, that's great!" he beams, ruffling up my hair and swat his hand away with an annoyed smile. "You look a little different from the last time I saw you too." He mutters, stepping back before chuckling. "You don't look like you fainted in an attic."
"Haha. Very funny." I roll my eyes, fake laughing but I couldn't help the smile that braced my lips. "You look good in white by the way." I say as I hop on the table, sitting crossed-legged and Five sighs out at my action.
"Thanks kid." He nods to me before turning to his brother. "About time you showed up." Diego says to Five, sitting down opposite his brother at the table.
"How'd you know I'd be back?"
"Because that's the kind of shit you pull."
He's not wrong though.
"Where are the others?" Five asks
"They're not with you?" Diego scoffs.
"We'll find them." the smaller brother mutters softly, sighing out. "How long have you been here?"
"75 days."
"Everyone landed in the alley behind Commerce and Knox." I yawn out, stretching and the boys look up at me. "Five and I both got here this morning."
"How'd you find me?" Diego asks us and Five scoffs, pulling out the newspaper clipping.
"You're quite famous Diego." I chuckle and he rolls his eyes at me.
"Page 16. 'Disturbed man with multiple knives arrested outside 1026 N. Beckley.' That's Lee Harvey Oswald's house." Five shoves the newspaper towards Diego who just laughs.
"Yo, he actually lost it hasn't he?" I whisper to Five and he nods. "I never expected you to be the one to go crazy. Klaus maybe, but not you, Diego."
