How do you go on in life without believing there's something more to what we see around us? I don't know if I could ever live on happily just going through the motions of life.
How could anyone be satisfied with the empty thrills of late nights through these vicious streets with monsters dressed as sheep?
I never understood the life people lived outside my sanctuary, but I craved the knowledge of something I didn't know. And when I had a taste of my peers lived, wild nights and spontaneous risky adventures, I didn't know why I left my safe haven.
When you're stuck in this world and its traditions, you come back to reality clawing desperately for air. You've been suffocated by the evil lurking behind the shadows of the outside world. Staying in your safe zone isn't depriving yourself or tricking yourself into thinking that all is rainbows and butterflies. It's protection from heartbreak. From more pain than we need.
Too many have allowed themselves to continue this destructive trend of "life". They don't see the light shining right above the clouds of this gloomy world. It's all a fog, and we can't see a thing other than what's a few inches in front of us.
I learned to break through the mist, to see what we aren't being shown on the media. Unfortunately people give up on searching for more only because it's harder than standing where they are. Walking is easier than flying. But the view up above, way up high...
It's breath taking.
I'm flying now.
I'm convinced of the hope God has promised. There's a new life under peace and joy to be spread over mankind.
Whatever you see around you—pain, suffering, death—it'll all be gone. No more injustice. No more crying. The things we see now will no longer be. It won't even be a memory.
The ruler of this world has had his time, and he will not be tolerated anymore by our Heavenly Father.
I'm looking forward to the time that my mind is free from this terror, this dread I feel. Anxieties and depressive thoughts will no longer exist. I'll be happy—WE will be happy—forever on earth. (Psalm 145:16, 17)
Our God—Jehovah (Psalm 83:18)—has promised these things to us, and he is giving us the chance to grasp this hope.
"May the God who gives hope fill you with all joy and peace by your trusting in him, so that you may abound in hope with power of Holy Spirit." —Romans 15:13
Trust in God, even though you cannot physically see him.
Can we see our brain? No.
But do we believe it is there? Yes.
God has proven to us with his beautiful creations that he exists. So why can't we believe that he is real even though we cannot visibly see him?
This hope I am speaking of is just around the corner. And even though you may be hurting now, do not think hoping in this promise is an empty thing to do. Because one day this new life will be upon us and we could miss out if we didn't take the chance to believe in it. Why would we ever do that to ourselves?
Deny a better life that is sure to come?
