I finally reached my house. It is the same old house as ever just a small normal house. I unlocked the door and said "I'm home" no one replied or answered . Well, what is new no one ever give a damn about me anyway.

As I closed the door, I saw my parents in the living room, sitting on the couch watching a movie.

Have fun mom and dad. I know they don't actually love me that much, but deep down I still love them even though they hate me and treat me differently.

My brother well I think he is in his room playing games 24/7. He really needs a life.

I ran up the stairs and heard a ring on my phone. It is a notification from my phone. Chen texted me.

IdiotChen : Soo Mi I miss you ❤️

Why is he so cheesy? But a good cheesy and cute. He trying too hard. I just smile at the texts that he send to me.

Soo Mi: why are you so cheesy?

Soo Mi: anyways miss you too but it's only been a few minutes 😅

IdiotChen : Ahhwaeee... Can't I just say that 😉

That text made me blush and my heart is racing fast all of a sudden.

I daren't move, I daren't even breathe, I'm frozen to the spot. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest...duh-duhn, duh-duhn. Deep heavy breathes sound nearby.

The hairs on my arms stand to attention, as a militia of chills march down my spine.

Is there something there or is it just my imagination?  The sound is intolerable, my breaths get deeper and deeper by the second.

I finally reached my room. I jumped on my comfy bed and just admiring the text he sent to me while feeling happy inside. He is so cute and adorable.

Then I realised that he uses his wines that I love so much. Even back then.

As I was saying that flashes of the past came back at me. Bits and pieces of it to me. It got me by surprise because I thought I get rid of it a long time ago.

Flashback

This is right after the incident when Chen slap me after I accidentally kiss him and Yi Soo saw.

He ran outside the classroom and chased after her. I could see that he was so eager to tell her what happened. I could see it on his serious face that he makes.

I was walking to the left and the right-back and forthright in front of the classroom door thinking. What should I do?

Should I just leave them be or spy on them? Turns out I went for the second option. I ran towards them and hid behind one of the bushes. They were in the school's garden.

They were standing face to face.

"You were cheating on me with her, you know that I hate her now after I found out she bully me when I was a kid" Yi Soo raise her voice angrily.

Hate was not the word to describe how much she feels hatred towards me.

Wait that was her the cubby kid I used to bully. We live in a small world. No wonder I had a bad feeling when I met her for the first time.

"Yi Soo... I can explain" he held his head down while he was scratching his head and grabbed Yi Soo's hands to hold.

I think he was nervous.

"I don't want to hear anything from you anymore, we're true, you here me, I want to break up with you Chen" she said with a loud tone and I could see tears falling down on her cheeks.

"OK fine, I was trying to explain something to you but you don't want to listen, so I don't want to tell you that I love someone else" he said while explaining.

Wait he loves someone else. Who is this person anyway?

Those words right there makes her want to drop down on the floor and cry her eyes out. She turns back from him and runs away with tears of sadness falls from her miserable face.

I saw Chen just watching her run away. I could see that he was also about to cry.

He refused to look away, even as his lips trembled and his shoulders heaved with emotion, unwilling to back down.

I know he said he love someone else maybe he just saying that.

His dark lashes brimmed heavy with tears; his hands clenched into shaking fists, in a desperate battle against the grief.

A lone tear traced down his cheek, and just like that, the floodgates opened.

He wept, tears streaming from his deep blue eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing from his throat, and still, he did not look away.

Not until the sobs drove him to his knees did his determined gaze fall.

Then I followed him to wherever he is going and I stopped when he was going home.

I think that's it enough spying for one day. I went back home.

While chen on the other hands just walking back home still thinking about the breakup.

He walked home without looking where he was going. Thinking about the incident, the breakup.

At the last second, he jumped. His body hit the hood of the car and He screamed loudly.

The moment the car hit  Chen, he assumed he was dead. Then he kept waking and waking. Chen feels liked to be unconscious rather than awake. Because when he was awake he could taste the coppery blood pooling in his mouth.

Chen could feel it grazing his teeth and soaking his tongue. He felt the aching and cracks in his bones. Each crack felt like rocks were burrowing into his skin. He sucked in cramped air, feeling the lungs caving in on themselves. 

He saw the spots in the corners of his vision, making his head feel like the only thing inside of it was static. He heard a buzzing noise, filling his ears. Chen felt like he was there for hours, fading and waking and fading and waking.

His agony was the only thing keeping him alive. It was the only thing he could feel anymore.

The next thing he knew, Chen was laying on a hospital bed with his parents sitting beside him.

The hospital room is as devoid of beauty as I am of hope. Its walls are simply cream, not peeling or dirty, just cream.

There is no decoration at all save the limp curtain that can separate my bed from the three others in here. It was perhaps once the kind of green that reminds people of spring-time and hope, but it's faded so much that the hue is insipid.

The room as an undertone of bleach and the floor is simply grey. At the far end are windows in brown metal frames, only openable at the top. Not a single person has flowers, cards or home brought food.

They are sleeping to pass the time or staring at nothing at all. There are stands for intravenous drips and monitors.

A few minutes later I got a text from Eun Ji telling me what happened to him. So I immediately ran down and rushed to the hospital to see for myself.

As I was about to go into the room, I saw the doctor saying something to them.

"I'm afraid he is suffering from amnesia... I think just some bits of his memories... you can't tell him what happened he needs to gain those memories by himself if not it will damage his mind" the doctor said to his parents.

"OK doctor.. Thanks" his parents said to the doctor.

"Son are you OK?... Don't ever just ran off just to catch up with Yi Soo because you too just broke up and you kiss Soo Mi" his mom scolded him.

"Mom how did you know?" he replied.

"I got the info from Eun Ji" she replied.

"Wait who's Soo Mi?" he asked his mom.

"Umm... It's just Someone you don't know" she said nervously.

I heard everything. I know what the doctor said not to tell him what happened, but deep down it's hurt so much because he did not remember me. Why you have to remember Yi Soo, not me.
