Something crazy

Chels

Danny turned to his friends. "Guys. I'm gonna do something...crazy right now."

Sam rolled her eyes. "Probably more like something stupid."

Danny winked at her before continuing. "So unless you hear me shouting 'Help!' don't do anything alright?"

He flew up, leaving baffled and confused humans behind.

He flew over the crowds that were trying to break his friends' circle. Some human hunters were flying on the top and almost getting to the middle. Danny took note that when the BCOUS had to get a prize, they could do it expertly and quickly as a team. However, once they had the prize, they didn't know what to do with it. Well they did, but not which of all things. Danny whistled to get their attention.

The hunters turned as one to look up at him.

Danny swallowed before smirking. He could do this. His plan would work. He'd just have to be careful.

"Yo, I'm up here, you idiots. Geez you guys couldn't catch a kitten if it lay down before you."

Its harder than it looks tho

A few nets were thrown and Danny 'accidentally' flew right into it.

He 'struggled' in the air. "Aw man. Now I'm caught."

There weren't any cheers of accomplishment or hugging and complimenting the other on his work.

Everyone immediately ran forward, trying to get to the halfa first.

Huh, this was going better than he thought it would.

Humans flew up, desperate to have a piece of the hybrid. Ghosts were rooted to the ground helplessly...or not.

They shot up at the boy, trying to shoot him down.

Danny evaded a few but let the rest hit him. He grit his teeth at the pain and didn't have to act his fall.

He smacked on the ground. His breath was stolen and for a second he lay gasping.

That was more than enough for ghost hunters to surge forward and grab Danny. They tore at the net, trying to have the halfa themselves.

Danny blinked and scowled. Getting torn to shreds was not part of his plan, in case you were wondering.

His arm that was being pulled on glowed a bright green and send out a powerful blast that took out many ghosts on that side.

He yanked his other arm back and punched the hunter grabbing it. Then he froze the net, hoping the others couldn't see him because of all the bodies crowding around him. The ropes went rigid and Danny broke through them as if they were made of glass.

He flew up, much to his friends' relief, and wagged his finger at the hunters. "Nu-uh. You can't all have me, can you. There's only one of me. Well..." Danny smirked as a wonderful idea hit him. "There's actually two halfas."

This put a pause on the hunters. They stared at the hybrid in confusion.

Dani's eyes widened for a brief second before she relaxed. Danny would never give her away.

Danny smirked. "Skulker must have left that out, huh. I know another halfa that has been one 20 years longer than me. A more formidable prey." Danny honestly didn't know if that was true anymore. While Vlad had been a halfa longer than him, Danny's 'death' had been slightly different. Danny's whole body had been affected by the portal. Vlad only had his face screwed. Danny's power grew faster and he had almost matched Vlad in power and skill last fight. Almost. Danny could also thank the constant ghost attacks for the training. Vlad never had to worry about that. So technically, Danny had more experience.

"His name is Vlad Plasmius."

There was recognition in the eyes of a few. "Plasmius? But I know him." "I saw him last week." "That no good lying bastard."

Danny nodded. "He is a halfa and lives in the Human Zone. Vlad Masters, should be easy to find." He briefly glanced at his parents, but couldn't quite make out their expressions.

The hunters talked excitedly and a few left to plan a way to capture this halfa. Most by far, though, stayed.

They looked at Danny. So close. They weren't ready to let this chance slip through their fingers.

"But you're here now."

"Soon I'll have two halfas stuffed in my house."

Danny narrowly avoided a bullet. He quickly spoke up again. "AS I SAID...there is only one of me. I can't be a rug and a pet and a footstool at the same time."

The hunters grumbled.

"So if one of you kills me and stuffs me and shapes me into a pelt or something, I can't be your pet anymore."

Skulker saw what the boy was doing, of course he did. The other hunters did too. He was setting them against each other. But the halfa was right. If Skulker didn't get the boy first, then someone else will get him.

Skulker had to take care of the competition. He guessed it was partly his own fault that they knew of the whelp.

A few humans flew forward in another reckless attempt to snatch the hybrid and Danny flew to the side. "But I won't be a very good rug with a gaping hole in my side, right? And a dead or even injured pet isn't of much use!"

Now is when the hunters realized. They growled at each other.

"You dare lay one filthy paw on my prize..."

"I will rip you apart."

"Nobody touches my prey!!"

Threats were thrown right and left and it wasn't long before one attacked.

Danny smirked and crossed his arms, still floating several feet off the ground.

His schoolmates looked around in shock as the HUNT tore itself apart.

Kim nodded approvingly. "That went well."

Mikey gaped. "That was so cliche, how did it work."

Idk mikes idk

Jack grinned. "That's my boy."

Maddie smirked evilly. "Let's see Vlad deal with this now."

David fidgeted, not at all comfortable with the scuffling hunters around him. "We should probably leave."

Mr. Lancer nodded and tried pushing the kids out of the chaos. "Let's go quietly and try not to attract too much attention."

Damien frowned as he looked around. "Where's Dorian."

Dorian was in a panic. That is, until Daniel stopped them by flying up into the open. In plain sight. Then he just freaked out. What was that boy thinking?!

As Daniel talked he realized the plan. It was smart.

Not only would the organization break apart, making them unable to work together and crippling their power, but Daniel ensured safety for himself. The hunters would do their best to fowl each other's plans.

The only problem was that he had completely caught their attention. The hunters would only go after him now and leave all other prey aside in an attempt to get to him first.

Dorian sighed. He hoped this plan didn't backfire.

It didn't seem to as the hunters started attacking each other and Dorian's siblings and his cousin's classmates made their way out.

Dorian took a relieved breath. Everything went well. Now if only Daniel would get out of there...

The boy started descending and dodging the few blasts shot at him occasionally. He was making his way towards Dorian's siblings when Dorian spotted something.

A big deformed hunter ignored the fight around him as he glared at the retreating halfa. He brought out a big gun and aimed.

"There's Dorian!" Nathan shouted and pointed, which made everyone turn and look up. To see a bright green light, that stood out from the Ghost Zone's sky. It flew up to the oblivious Danny in a flash.

Dorian couldn't care less that everyone was watching. He had let too many people get injured while he stood quietly at the side. This was the last straw.

He flew behind Danny and his light brightened.

The others blinked as Dorian grew into....Phantom?!

Phantom made a shield and the blast he was trying to deflect pushed him into Danny. Danny barely caught himself in the air and he looked back.

His eyes widened. "Dorian?"

The humans gasped.

Dash gaped. "Why does Dorian look like Phantom??"

Andrew pointed. He opened and closed his mouth. He was right? He was right! "Because Dorian is Danny's clone."

Dash frowned. "What does that have to do with anything."

Andrew scowled at the bigger blond. "Because Danny IS Phantom!!"

Danny flinched. He scowled at Dorian. "Why did you do that?!" He hissed.

His cousin inspected the ground in search for more threats. "Because, Daniel, you were about to be hit by one of your parents' weapons and it looked dangerous enough to blast you to pieces. And if you are smart, you would get out of here as soon as you can."

Danny blinked. "Why?"

Dorian and him looked down at the ground. Dorian's tail swishing in agitation. "Because, even though your plan will work longterm, you are in trouble now."

Danny's eyes widened as he looked at the crowd of hunters. That one shot was all it took for them to have their attention back to the prey. They growled.

Danny gulped. "Shit is going down."
