The Fenton parents watched the students get hoarded by Mr. Lancer and into the ship.

"They go fast, don't they."

Maddie looked surprised when the ghost next to her talked. Then she looked back at Danny. "They do."

"You spent so much time preparing it and when it's done and ready, it's gone so fast."

Maddie nodded absently, thinking of all the moments she had spent with Danny when he was a kid. She missed it. They were so close. She was glad for this time she got with him and she had been introduced to a whole new side of her son.

"And before you know it, you have to make more."

Maddie looked at the ghost weirdly. "Are you thinking of having more children?"

The Lunch Lady stared at Maddie. She frowned. "Children?! No, dear. I am talking about food."

An she turned and retreated into the house, leaving behind a shocked Maddie.

The students said their goodbyes to the ghostly family as they swam to the rocky island where their vehicle was parked.

Paulina looked sideways at her friend. "I didn't know you were good with kids?"

Star smiled. "I have many siblings remember? I babysit my brothers and sisters a lot."

Paulina nodded, wondering why she didn't know this before.

They stopped in their tracks when they caught sight of two ghosts standing next to the ship.

It was a female with green greasy hair and the male ghost that had been their cellmate in the hunter's island. A motorcycle was parked next to them and they were checking the ship out.

"Hey!" Valerie shouted. "What are you doing here?"

The ghosts turned to them as the first teens landed.

Richard immediately recognised the female. "You're the babysitter"

The ghost frowned. Then her eyes lit up in recognition. "And you're that kid that was playing with Youngblood. I barely recognise you without the 'armour'," she stated. "And no, I'm not babysitting that brat again."

Richard grinned an laughed at the statement.

By then many adolescents had landed and were approaching the ghosts.

Jack and Maddie saw this and frowned.

"They're being too careless, Mads," Jack said to his wife.

She nodded. "It's because of all the nice ghosts we met. They've become too reckless. And not even the evil ghosts could break that habit. We have to do something about it."

Jack nodded and grinned.

Johnny, for this was the ghost standing in front of them, put an arm around the girl. "So you escaped, huh?"

Andrew nodded. "No thanks to you."

Sheldon porred his arm in warning.

Johnny's lips lifted in a sloppy grin. "You didn't need it, did you, little man. You had..."

"Hey! I didn't know that was your girlfriend!!" Danny interrupted.

Johnny frowned at the boy and Danny flashed his eyes at him. Basically: you say a word, you're dead.

Paulina took the bait. "Is that the girlfriend you were talking about?" She asked skeptically.

Kitty raised an eyebrow. "You were talking about me? Better be good."

Paulina smirked and put a hand on her hip. "Well, the way he made it sound, you were a goddess. I have to say I'm deeply disappointed."

Kitty smiled at the 'goddess' part. Then she frowned when the latina said the rest. "Now listen here you little brat..."

"Yeah interesting. But check this out," Johnny interrupted before they could start a cat fight. He snatched a plant from the ground, roots and all, and threw it in the ship's direction.

The class watched in confusion as the plant landed two meters away from the ship. Then in fascination a the plant, that glowed green with life, slowly lose its color. Wisps of green floated out of it, as if the color was detaching itself, and was sucked into the ship.

The plant shriveled up and all that was left was a dry cask of what it once was.

The students ooh'd at the show and ran forward to touch the plant.

"Throw another one," they yelled at Johnny, who gladly complied. Kitty facepalming at his childish ways.

Danny gulped at the shrinking vegetation.

His friends had stayed behind with him so it wouldn't seem suspicious. They looked at each other, completely lost as to what they could do to help their friend.

Kitty yanked Johnny's arm back before he could throw another one. "Let's go, Johnny. Spectra is waiting."

The adolescents snapped their heads towards them. They recognised the name.

"The shrink from school?!" Mikey asked in horror.

Kitty smirked. "Yeah. I think you've already met. You didn't know she was a ghost?"

Nathan's eyes widened. "So that's why she suddenly disappeared."

Star looked at Paulina in shock. "And why we were so depressed after talking to her."

Nathan stared at her. "Actually that doesn't explain why we were so depressed."

Star shrugged. "She could've been the ghost of teenage depression."

Kitty laughed ad she mounted the bike. "You could say that. Let's go, Johnny." And with that Johnny saluted an started his bike. The motor roared and took off. It rocketed off the small rocky island and landed on another one. Finally, it went out of sight.

Kwan nudged Dash. "Dude, the guy's shadow had eyes."

Dash, and half the class turned to him. "What?!"

Andrew nodded. "And it sometimes moved in its own."

"It's a different being," Tucker stated. The students looked at him in shock. "I think," he finished.

Maddie spoke up. "Who is Spectra?"

Sheldon looked at her. "You didn't know about her? She was the school's therapist for a time. She wasn't that good. Then she just disappeared."

Jack clapped his hands. "This is why we're going to continue our training."

There were confused questions. "What?", "Continue?", " Training?"

Maddie nodded as she walked into the ship. She waited for Jack to click it open and stepped inside. "Me and Jack have decided that you are able to use your weapons fine now so we're going to introduce you to new weapons."

There were cheers and groans. The adolescents had an overall mixed feeling about this training.

Maddie came out with an armful of weapons. She dumped them on the ground and held one up. "This is the Fenton thermos. It captures ghosts."

Dash pointed excitedly. "That's the thermos Danny Phantom uses."

Jack nodded in irritation. "That scum stole the original. I don't know how he did it, but he's gonna pay for that. And I don't mean money!!"

Andrew raised his hand, as always the proper student. "But if the thermos captures ghosts, why does Phantom fight them first."

Maddie pursed her lips. "Although he is ghost scum, Phantom knows what he's doing. The thermos only catches weak ghosts. Ghosts strong enough can escape the thermos. Which is why Phantom needs to tire them out first, meanwhile they cause destruction and pain."

Paulina looked like she wanted to argue but Jack interrupted. "Phantom is a powerful ghost. We have been measuring his power since the first year he was spotted in Amity park."

"And what did you get?" Danny asked, genuinely curious.

Maddie put her hand on her hips. "He went, in a scale from one to ten, from a two (which is very weak. Newborn ghost type of weak) to a twelve. And that in the past four years."

The adolescents stared in shock.

Tucker nudged Danny, grinning. Danny just stared at his mom openmouthed.

Valerie slowly turned her head to Danny. Sam smiled proudly.

"Whoaaa."

Maddie nodded reluctantly. She shook the thermos. "We had made a new thermos but Phantom has become so powerful he can easily escape. Which is why we made this new and improved thermos. It has a stronger effect and can therefore catch stronger ghosts like Phantom. Of course we haven't been able to test it yet but we will."

Jack shook his fist. "And if that ectoplasmic piece of scum tries to steal this thermos too he'll have to go through me and this Fenton Ecotastic gun."

Danny smiled.

Mikey raised his eyebrows at the weapon. "What's that?"

Jack blinked out his temper and looked at the gun he was holding.  He smiled, cradling it. "This baby is the Ectotastic. It removed the ectoenergy from a ghost and stores it. "

"What happens to the ghost?" Dash asked horrified.

"It shrivels up until the only thing left is an empty cask," Jack said.

Danny paled.

Chelsea pointed at the plants. Richard held one up. It crinkled like paper. "Kind of like those plants."

Jack nodded. "They are very similar. Yes." He put it down and grabbed another one. "This one is the Ghost Finder. It finds the ectoenergy of a ghost and directs us exactly to where that scum is."

He turned it on.

The little antennae swirled around. "A ghost is found. To your right," the device guided Jack around the students.

Star gasped. "There's a ghost here?"

Andrew deadpanned. "This is the Ghost Zone, you know."

Jack stopped and looked up.

To find Danny glaring at the device.

The class gasped.

The Fenton Finder realised Jack wasn't running away from the ghost. "There is a ghost right in front of you. You have to be blind, deaf and stupid to not notice the ghost right in front of you."

Jack turned it off and threw it at the pile of weapons. "Andrea is right. This is the Ghost Zone. This device wouldn't work anyway. But take a look at this baby."

"It's Andrew," the boy grumbled. He looked at Sheldon in desperation. "How. Do I even look like a girl?"

Sheldon shrugged. "Yes."

Andrew glared at him.

The teenagers gathered around the pile and tried them out, sometimes asking the Fenton parents for instructions.

Dash looked at a boomerang. It looked old and was slightly faded. He smiled and grabbed it. He threw back his  arm and swung. The boomerang flew but instead of returning to Dash it went wide. The blond followed it until he saw where it was heading.

It was about to hit Danny on the head. Before Dash could shout a warning, the black haired boy swung his head as if he had heard it coming and held out his hand. The boomerang was stopped abruptly and trembled slightly in the boy's hand.

Danny frowned at the device in his hands. "Dad, why do we still have this?"

Jack looked up and winced when he spotted the device. "Give me that before your mother sees it." He snatched the Boooomerang out of Danny's hands and into his pocket.

Mikey looked at it before it disappeared in the big man's pocket. "What does that do? "

Jack waved his hand. "It locks  onto a ghost's ectosignature but it has malfunctioned."

Mikey frowned. "But  why did it target Danny?"

Jack just shrugged. "Broken."

Then he  turned around to show Richard what the sticks in his hands did.

Valerie stood next to Danny. "Why is your dad being so  evasive when it comes to the antighost guns acting out on you."

Sam responded for him. "It happens so much they're used to it. I guess they don't want the rest to think Danny's a ghost."

Valerie wasn't entirely convinced.

Danny scowled. "I swear if another invention reacts on me, I'm destroying that pile. They'll find out my secret if this goes on. Why do these people need to learn about these weapons. It's not like they're gonna use them, anyway," he said in Ghost.

"It's not like they're gonna use them, anyway. Fear me."

Danny froze. He groaned.

Jack looked at the Ghost Gabber he had just turned on. He looked at Danny.

Andrew, who had just learned what the device did, spoke up. "Was that Ghost?" His eyes brightened. "That secret language you always speak in is Ghost?!"
