Heres Richard
What do u think?
Valerie reeled back. "Medusa?! What are you doing here??"
The ghost frowned and blinked at the red human in front of her. Her eyes cleared. "You. You have saved me from my captor!!"
Valerie blinked. She guessed her helmet would protect her since she had already looked at Medusa without turning into stone. But she avoided looking directly at her eyes, just in case. "Skulker? Oh yeah. I shot those green blobs out of you. But I couldn't help you escape," she asked confused. "They took you away."
Medusa seemed to grin, which was creepy. "You have helped me escape! Medusa turned her captors to stone and went back home. Welcome!!"
Valerie looked around. "This is your house?! Where are the others?" It was awfully quiet. Valerie expected more noise from such a big building.
Medusa deflated. "Medusa lives alone." She pointed at a statue Valerie had noticed before but not given much thought to.
It was a sculpture of a being, caught mid scream. Could have been a ghost or a human, Valerie couldn't tell.
Then, to her horror, she found more. Sculptures adorned the sides of the building and the garden outside. They looked as if someone had tried to make something beautiful out of something horrifying. A pitiful attempt.
In the middle of it all, stood Medusa. Valerie realized too late she was staring at the lady in the eyes. She checked to see she was still flesh and bone. She was.
Medusa hissed sadly. "Red human hasn't turned into stone. How?"
Valerie hesitated, but knocked her helmet with her knuckles. "I got protection. Isn't it lonely?"
Medusa seemed to shrug. She brightened. "Why has the red human come to Medusa's temple? Has red human come to visit?" She asked, elated.
Valerie flinched. "Umm no. Actually." She heard the sounds of fighting behind her and paled. "Medusa! The same guys that captured you are trying to get my friend! I need to go back and help him."
Medusa seemed sad that the nice girl didn't want to stay. Then she walked out to see the warzone. She hissed and the snakes squirmed around her head in a frenzy. "The captors are back." She turned to Valerie. "Medusa will help red human's friend."
Valerie smiled. "Really?"
The other nodded. "Medusa wants to punish those who dared capture me, Medusa. And Medusa owes red human a favor."
Valerie smiled and nodded. "Thank you. Want me to give you a lift?"
And so we see the Red Huntress carrying Medusa towards the battle.
Valerie meanwhile tried to explain the whole situation. "And please don't make a statue of my human friends or ghosts."
Medusa hissed questioningly. "Which ones are red human's friends?"
"Ummmm. The kids, mostly. Don't make a sculpture out of any kids or teenagers, human or ghost. Then there's this big dog and a wolf. I'll show you who they are. And whoever is near the dog or wolf and are protecting them, or vice versa, is good. Also my friend's parents and my teacher."
Valerie was just now realizing how big of a risk she's taking by bringing Medusa into the fight. She felt the lady could be trusted, but accidents happen. And couldn't be reversed. Too late now, she told herself. Hopefully Medusa will remember who's on their side.
They flew right above the fight now. Valerie sucked in a breath.
A few of her classmates that must have left the ship to help, were caught. The rest fought with tooth and nail.
The human hunters she had seen coming were surrounding the ship.
Everyone was injured, covered in bruises and cuts and oozing wounds.
Danny was too preoccupied to notice hunters capturing more and more of his friends.
Medusa growled at the hunters. "Which ones are your friends?"
The Red Huntress quickly pointed them out.
Medusa's forked tongue licked her teeth and lips. "We must hurry. Red human's friends are not holding up well."
Valerie agreed and they dropped down. "Nobody hurt Medusa!!" She yelled to her classmates and friends. "She's on our side!!! But don't look at her either!"
She turned back to the lady. "You gonna be ok? I gotta go tell my friend something."
Medusa hissed and smirked. "Go. Medusa will punish your enemies."
Valerie smiled as she led her hoverboard up. "You go punish them."
She flew over the crowds. Sometimes stopping to help out someone and/or reminding them about Medusa. They looked at her in surprise but there was no time for questions. Though Valerie knew there would be when all of this was over.
She finally made it to Danny.
Danny ducked under a blow and shot at the legs of his attacker. He felt something pierce his side but he quickly yanked it out.
It hurt like heck and Danny was forever thankful that his healing power worked even faster when adrenalin was pumping through his veins.
It has saved his life many times now. The boy hoped he wouldn't get any scars out of it.
His human side only got scars if the wound was too serious. His ghost half never had any. The ectoplasm his ghost half was made of wasn't like skin. It didn't 'heal' perse. It reformed. Only the scars on his human half showed on the other.
Danny swung the spear that he had yanked out of his skin and ran it through someone's stomach. He hoped that someone wasn't human.
He had been separated from his dad some time ago and hadn't seen anyone from his team since then. He was worried.
Suddenly he heard something behind him. He turned to see someone had blasted down a ghost trying to attack him.
He looked up to see the Red Huntress and smiled. "Hey! Nice of you to join the party."
She smirked under her helmet and the hoverboard disappeared into the underside of her feet, dropping her from the air. "Can't you fly up?"
Danny shrugged and punched a hunter. "Yeah but who's going to take these dudes out then."
Weapons appeared in her hands as she blasted away. "No really. You need to see something."
Danny shook his head. "Every time I go up they force me back down with a trap. Can't you just tell me?"
Valerie frowned. "No. You gotta see it. Go. I'll cover for you."
Danny crouched a little, holding his arms close to his core. Then he straightened and send a wave of power around him.
The hunters were blasted back and Danny had enough space to fly up.
Valerie shot a few nets that had been thrown at him and he dodged missiles.
They flew around. They had to keep moving so they wouldn't get hit.
Danny inspected the ground under him. He spotted a few sculptures and saw a green wriggling spot. He frowned. "Medusa?!"
Valerie nodded. "Met her when I went to transform. She owes me a favor and is helping us. But don't..."
"...gaze into her eyes. I know." Danny sighed. One more ally. That's good. They need all the help they could get. He wished Leroy was here. But he and the others wouldn't be back for another few hours.
Valerie smirked. "Oh so you've met?"
Danny waved his hand. "One time. Anyway we're on short time here, Red. What is it?"
She pointed and he saw the hunters herding captured humans, a few of his clones too.
"But that's not all," she said and showed him the human hunters trying to break down the door of the ship or wriggling themselves through the window Danny had broken.
Danny growled, frustrated. "Ugh. We can't keep this up. Even with Medusa's help. What do we do."
Valerie randomly blasted a hunter, deep in thought. "We could start by freeing the captives. Then get everyone together to form a circle. We'll fight better as a group than individually."
Danny nodded. "Of course. But after that? We can't keep that up forever. We need to leave. Get in the ship and lose them. I'll get the clones, Stephanie and Cujo out. Then I'll lose them somewhere."
Valerie scowled. "But they'll just come find you again. They tracked you here. They could do it again and again until you're caught."
Danny was twitching, he was so nervous. He bit his lip. "Well what do you want me to do, Val?" Then he stopped. He blinked down.
Valerie looked at him and smiled. "Idea?"
Danny ran a hand through his hair. "Umm yeah kinda. Last resort kinda thing."
Valerie frowned. "What."
Danny sighed. "I could use the wail again."
"Don't you need to be in Phantom form for that?"
He nodded. Then shook his head as if he was arguing with himself.
Valerie shifted in the air. "Make up your mind already."
"I'm not using it."
Valerie growled. "Your secret isn't worth your life, Danny." Like she was one to talk.
Danny shook his head. "It's not that...I could kill them with it." Before Valerie could ask he continued. "Remember back at Skulker? I killed a few. And there was thick glass in between. And I was wounded and weak from the filters. Who knows how many I'll kill now. Besides, I'll harm the humans too."
Valerie pursed her lips. "We could separate them. Hunters and non-hunters."
Danny nodded slowly but still unsure. "Let's regroup like you said. But get the hunters away from the ship first."
He flew down.
"Wait!"
Danny stopped and looked back up to Valerie.
"Talk to Kim," she said. "She's smart."
He nodded and flew down.
Danny hovered above Cujo, who was being held in some sort of containment. Danny blasted the ghosts around him and quickly got the big dog out.
The dog licked him. Danny pushed him away. "Not now, boy. Where are the others. Where are they, Cujo."
The dog growled and trampled hunters under his huge paws as he ran, Danny following behind.
They found Mikey next. He looked scared to death as he cowered under the gazes of the hunters.
They spotted Danny and held Mikey at gunpoint.
A ghost smirked. "If you want to safe him, come peacef...." Before he could even finish his sentence, Danny had blasted the gun away. Cujo growled and bit a ghost, shaking it as if it was a toy.
Danny grabbed Mikey's hand and dragged the grateful boy away.
"What's the plan."
Danny flinched. "Not get killed?"
Mikey looked at him in horror.
They bumped into Dash and went to the ship together. They passed many statues on the way, which was both reassuring and dreadfully creepy.
Dash grunted as he pushed away a hunter. "We can't hold them off forever, Fenton."
Danny was losing his patience. Why does everyone seem to think he had a plan?! "What do you want me to do? Give myself up?!"
Dash scowled at the halfa. "No. Of course not! Don't you have any superpowers that could get us out of here?"
Danny blinked. Dash didn't want him to give himself up? He shook his head. "No well yeah. But it's too dangerous."
Dash huffed. "Better figure something out soon."
They appeared at the edge of the force around the ship and stopped. There were a few kids firing away with their guns. Maddie had a huge bazooka on her shoulder. Jack punched ghosts away from Nathan and Melissa, who tried to shoot small guns and help out. Sam was there, Kwan too. James, Kim and the Red Huntress. And Damien, which was odd because he never left his siblings' side.
But that was it.
Where was everyone else?
The ship was empty and the remaining students were being pushed away from the vehicle by human hunters, right into the hands of the awaiting ghosts.
Mikey gasped. "Where are the others?"
Danny furrowed his eyebrows. He pushed Dash and Mikey forward. "Common. We can't just stand here."
The others were now close enough that Danny, Cujo and Damien could stand among them, which wasn't good news at all.
Sam saw him and her face broke into a grin. "Danny!"
Danny waved. "Where's Tuck?" She bit her lip and shrugged. Danny pursed his lips and made his way towards Kim. He tapped her shoulder and she turned.
She smiled. "Danny! You're still alive."
Danny huffed. "Why is everyone always so surprised?"
She shrugged. "So what do you want?"
"Do you have any plans or something to go by? Cuz I got nothing."
Kim brushed the hair out from in front of her eyes. Something she seemed to be doing a lot after James had told her she had beautiful eyes. "I have to say. You manage to get yourself into very complicated situations." She shook her head. "I can't come up with anything either." She paused and looked at Danny seriously. "Unless you know something I don't."
Danny raised his eyebrows. What did she mean by that?
Dash looked around frantically. "Kwan!"
The boy grunted but grinned when he saw his buddy. "Good to see you, bro. Hey, you seen Star anywhere?"
Dash shook his head. "Where's Paulina."
"They disappeared, dude. I don't know anymore."
Danny's eyes widened. "Disappear? Where to?"
Kwan ducked a blow a shook his hand in an unsure gesture. "I don't know! First there they were there and then they weren't. You get me?"
"You looking for these?"
Danny and the others swirled around to see the crowd part. There stood the missing people.
Captive.
Danny groaned.
Suddenly the hunters took a few steps back, encircling them, and pointed their guns and weapons at them.
Danny noticed many Fenton guns in their possession. Must have stolen them from the ship. The hybrid looked around to see the mostly empty hands of his classmates. Or they stole them from right under our noses.
Danny scowled and crossed his arms. If he attacked now they would have enough time to shoot anyone. Half the people were captive and didn't have anything to fight with. The other half wasn't much better. They were split into two groups which means Danny can't put a shield up without endangering the others. And they couldn't fly up because the sky was being guarded by human hunters.
In other words, they were cornered.
Danny had to hand it to them, they knew how to hunt.
Cujo growled and his hair bristled, but Danny grabbed his collar and held him back. "Stand down," he said not only to Cujo but also the rest.
Valerie heard. Stand down?! That was the last thing she wanted to do!!
But she realized he was right. They were in a tight spot now.
Suddenly she remembered Medusa. Where was she?!
Then she saw the lady. Hands behind her back and bag on her head. She struggled but couldn't break out of her bonds.
Valerie felt guilty for getting her captured.
I will get her out, Valerie promised. Everyone will survive this.
Danny's order seemed to be what the hunters were waiting for. They grinned victoriously.
Danny stepped forward. He held his hands up in surrender. "Alright," he said, pushing the intense fear back. "You got me."
His friends and classmates stared at the boy in absolute horror.
However Danny ignored them. The hunters motioned him forward and, after a moment's hesitation, he complied.
"Finally." A human smirked. "We get the trophy we deserve."
Suddenly there was a scuffle and a ghost broke the circle. "No! He is mine!"
Danny's, and everyone else's, eyes widened. "Skulker?"
The ghost was indeed Skulker. He was in his armor which had seen better times. Dented and dirty as it was. But Skulker's eyes shone with fury.
"I have been hunting that whelp for years. You didn't even know of his existence until when I showed you a few days ago!!"
Another ghost sniffed. "And yet we caught it first. Shows how much of a lousy hunter you are."
Skulker balled his mechanic fists. "I caught him first. I caught him three years ago. While you were here picking your nails, I had the hybrid in my claws."
Danny nodded in confirmation.
Another raised an eyebrow. "But it escaped you again and again."
Skulker crossed his arms with a smirk. "Oh I want to see how long it takes him to escape you. My record is two days."
A human hunter frowned. "It cannot possibly escape the whole BCOUS."
"No dude," another hunter reminded them. "We're the HUNT now."
"LESS TALKING" Someone shouted. "MORE STUFFING."
"But I thought we were keeping it as a pet," someone else whined.
"WHY WOULD WE NEED A PET!!"
Danny sighed deeply as their argument broke out again.
Great hunters, bad coworkers.
Suddenly Skulker stood before him. The ghost smirked and snatched the halfa by the neck.
"Skulker's running off with my rug!!"
They turned to see a struggling Danny in the fleeing hunter's grasp.
Valerie jumped on top of Skulker and started punching him and trying to yank off his helmet. He grabbed her and threw her off before she could, tightening his hold on the boy's neck, who gasped and tried to pry his fingers off.
Valerie landed on her feet and readied guns to shoot before she stopped.
Mikey sliced through Skulker's arm with a sword Valerie could only guess he had stolen from a hunter.
Danny dropped gasping on the ground. "Thanks, Mikes," he coughed out.
Mikey practically glowed.
The humans started to gather around him. Skulker was kicked out.
Danny slowly stood up as he removed the robotic arm from his neck. He looked around and was shocked to find himself surrounded. Not by his enemies, but by his friends.
Everyone, his friends, bullies, family, people he didn't even know before this heck of a trip. Everyone stood at the ready to protect him.
Why? Artemis knows why they would do hat.
But here they were.
Danny smiled. Then it widened to a grin. His panic and fear subsided and disappeared.
Paulina shook her head, not looking at him. "Quien sabe como te metes en tantos problemas, Fenton," she muttered before speaking up. "You better get us out of here alive."
Danny nodded and glanced at Kim. "I have a plan."
Kim looked at him with a knowing look. "Get them, tiger."
