Between the fake girlfriend giving him evil lessons, the mission to really kill her dad, and the shadow of his mother consistently swallowing up his own silhouette, he's certain sooner or later, he'll wake up from the fever-dream-turned-nightmare.

Meanwhile, Iris is barely keeping herself afloat. For the past few years, she's stuck her head in the sand in regards to her own mental health, and its rapidly deteriorating state. Now, she has no other choice but to look her own mistakes in the eye — or cover them up with more.

What neither of them are prepared for are the answers to come. Who is behind the Bolter, and why do they seem so familiar to Iris? What is the point in villainy Wesley is forced to follow? And, as time passes and events unfold, can evil be used for good?     ˙⋆✮
