I dream about you every day, although I haven't met you yet

My old friend the Fisherman says,

"cast a wider net"

I'm not sure if you are real, but my heart belongs to you-

And if you're out there somewhere, I hope you're dreaming too

I've always felt like something was lacking

An empty hole I don't know how to fill

Does someone else hold my missing piece

And spend their time dreaming up a face?

Or am I really broken

And this is a twisted bit of fate
