Anxiously I stood in front of his doorstep. I had no idea why I could have been this nervous, but it did bother me a lot. We would just go to the fair like two classmates. In the end I was even the one who asked him to go tonight.

I rang the bell whilst I played with my clammy fingers. After a couple of minutes the door was opened by a short and small woman, probably Skylar his mom.

She had the same eyes that Skylar had, but did have long brown hair instead of Skylar's platinum blonde color. The woman had this friendly aura around her and smiled warmly at me, she was honestly a beautiful mother.

"You're probably here for Skylar" She said which made me nod right after that.

"He will be here in any minute, do you want something to drink or eat in the meanwhile honey?" She asked very politely.

"No it's fine, thank you a lot miss. I will just wait right here" I answered fast.

"Oh honey, you can call me Cheryl" She laughed.

"Sure mi- uh I mean Cheryl" I said.

As if it was the perfect timing, Skylar came downstairs who instantly shot an unforgettable smile at me.

My heart skipped a beat.

For a second I didn't know what to say and I only could stare at him like a fool. His hair was perfectly styled back with a bit of gel. He wore a basic black shirt with a brown leather jacket and a dark jeans. The real smile he wore, made his colorful blue eyes practically shine like the sun.

He looked so different than usual.

"Cam?" Skylar interrupted me from my thoughts then.

"Yes?"

"Are we going? Or is something wrong?" He asked suddenly a bit paranoid.

"N-no, we can go.." I said while pointing at my bike.

My eyes fell on Skylar's mom for a second, who suddenly started to smile in the creepiest way towards us.

Huh.. Did I miss something?

"Have fun you two and don't do something that I wouldn't do" She smirked while winking.

"Mom!" Skylar yelled.

Confused I shook my head while letting out a soft laugh. I said goodbye to his mom before Skylar and I started to bike our ways to the fair.

Once arrived, we walked a bit around the place. There fell a painful silence between the two of us and I didn't know what I should say without making it any more awkward than it already was.

"Can we go in there?!" Skylar suddenly asked with wide eyes.

I looked towards the way he was looking at and noticed what he meant by that. A smirk erupted my face as I looked at him and nodded very fast. He grabbed my hand whilst laughing and dragging me to the paying booth.

I looked at our intertwined fingers with a frown, but didn't say anything about it.

The same electric feeling I felt when we touched each other for the first time came back, but this time it was way more intense. I felt my fingers heat up and the tingles slowly spread from my fingers, to my hand and ending up on my arm.

I just shook it off and looked towards the man in the booth. I got us as many coins as I could get and eventually I payed for the both of us. I walked with Skylar to one of the bumping cars

"Hey.. You really didn't have to pay for me" Skylar suddenly said as we sat in the car.

"I do, I'm the one who asked you tonight" I explained and looked at him.

"Okay, but I will pay next time!" He laughed then.

"That's a deal" I smirked and then we got the signal so I pushed the coin into the car and started driving my way around.

At first it was pretty hard to do so, because I had to get used to it which made us slip around sometimes. Only after a while I started to get used to it. I tried to avoid some cars and bump into a couple of cars myself.

When we were done with that, we went on to the haunted house. It was honestly hilarious since Skylar seemed to be scared and literally covered his eyes with his hands. I've laughed the whole ride whilst Skylar called me out for a prick.

Now I walked along with Skylar through the whole place again whilst we laughed. We were enjoying our heavenly delicious ice cream that I bought us a moment ago.

"Not! There was just something in my eyes!" Skylar defended himself.

"Yeah sure! The only thing you said was 'get me out of here!'" I laughed my ass off.

"Idiot.." He murmured soft and pushed me then.

"Hey, I'm just saying" I said while innocently holding my hands up in the air.

Skylar and watched something with his adorable big eyes again which made me frown.

"What are you looking at?" I asked and saw that he was looking at the Ferris wheel.

Before I was about say something I suddenly thought of what Dick told us. He wanted proof. So I tapped the shoulder of the first passerby.

"Sorry to bother you miss, but could you take a quick picture of my friend and I in front of this Ferris wheel?" I tried to ask as politely as I could.

I saw Skylar his weird expression, but didn't react to it even though he looked pretty cute like that.

"Of course!" The woman answered and took my mobile.

I grabbed Skylar his arm and tried to make sure that he was standing right besides me.

I wasn't a person that laughed a lot, but somehow I found myself smiling as wide as I could to the camera as I threw my arm around Skylar. I heard a sound from my phone which indicated that the picture was taken.

My arms left Skylar's body which made me feel cold all of a sudden. I just shook it off and took my phone back while thanking her. I felt Skylar  watching over my shoulder to the picture, making my heart beat faster for some reason.

I watched the picture with a smile when I noticed how happy we looked in there. We kind of looked like two little kids with ice cream that finally visited the fair.

We walked further, but I look back at my phone as I felt it buzzing.

I looked at it with a sign and decided not to respond to it. She literally follows me everything. She may look a lot like Nina, but her character obviously wasn't like Nina's.

"Who is that?" Skylar asked curious and tried to peek at my phone.

"Nobody" I simply said as I put my phone away and we walked further.

"Do you want to go in there?" I asked him and looked at the Ferris wheel.

I watched Skylar again and started laughing when he nodded excited. We ate the rest of our ice cream and got in the row.

Thankfully it didn't took long for our turn, we stepped in and sat in front of one another. I quickly looked around me as I see that it's starting to get dark outside. The street lamps and lightbulbs are lighting up the whole fair in the most beautiful way ever.

"Thank you" Skylar suddenly spoke up.

"What?" I asked.

"Thank you for everything. I'm really enjoying this" He smiled.

"Oh, it was no problem" I smiled back, I haven't smiled in years as much as I did today.

When we got to the top, I looked below me in admiration. Everything looked so small, but still beautiful aesthetic from all the decoration. All the people walked around here like little ants.

Eventually we sadly enough got back down and walked around the fair for the third time. I managed to win a cuddle bear for Skylar during a shooting game. Don't ask me why, but from all the bears he could choose, he chose a fish.

A freaking fish!

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" I looked at him.

Even when it's dark, you could see his light eyes twinkle like a star.

"Not really" He answered and shrugged.

"Shall we go back home then?" I asked and he nodded.

I stopped with walking, because my phone buzzed again yet I decided not to pay any attention to it as I walked further.

We cycled in silence towards Skylar his house. It's luckily a comfortable silence this time. Crazy enough, I actually liked today. I thought that the fair would be stupid and plain childish with someone like Skylar.

It was everything except for that and it was kind of fun with him. We laughed a lot and enjoyed ourselves as much as we could.

Before I know it, we arrived at his house and for some reason I had this bad nagging feeling into my stomach.

We stepped off of our bikes and walked to his front step. He put his bike in his garage and I just laid mine down on the ground. Skylar walked back to stand in front of me.

"It was really fun Cam, thank you for everything" He said with another precious smile.

"Same for me" I nodded.

He was about to turn around, but abruptly stopped and all of a sudden he took a step closer to me. Before I could even blink, he wrapped his arms around my shoulders while enveloping me in a hug.

In surprise I looked in front of me, not knowing what to do. My heart stammered against my chest as sparks were flowing like crazy inside my body. The electricity between us felt abnormally good this time.

I eventually wrapped my arms awkwardly around his waist. I haven't really had hugs in a long time, but this felt nice and trusting for once.

Skylar pulled back in shock and watched me with widened eyes.

"S-sorry-"

"I-it's okay!" I instantly interrupted him.

Hij softly smiled one last time at me before walking inside and closing the door behind him.

I turned around, still in shock and I started to bike to my house. Once I got home, I dumped my bike to the side of my house and walked fast inside.

For a second I closed my eyes as I felt all the warmth fill my body while thinking back to today.

With a small sigh, I walked to my room and jumped right into bed. I wasn't in the mood to change my clothes, I was way too tired for that.

Yet with all the power I had left in myself I tried to get up, changed my clothes, brushed my teeth and got back into bed.

I sighed in relief and fell asleep within no time, thinking about only one thing.

Or should I say,
