Perfect Ending
Out we were. Walking walking walking. Obviously the place was new to me. And he knew something. But walking we reached the best place of the day. Beach. (I can't explain to you, all I can say is the image which came to your mind when I told beach.. It's the wrong image)
It was beautiful. We saw crabs in between the rocks. We took pictures. Guess what, our first snap together, after 4 years of friendship. Then he walked, took a seat and had the longest conversation we ever had face-to-face or maybe the most eventful topics. Honestly, it was mixed feelings. The realisation that I was there all along but not there. Not knowing anything at all about his life when I believed the otherwise all the while. Yes, it was hurting. But it's ok. He is my boy! He will have genuine reasons for not telling.
Anyway, it was going to be 4 15 or so, and it was time to leave. On the way, we passed by a ground with kids playing football. Some young guys on bikes talking. The ultimate 'Parava' moment. Then we crossed St. Francis church. I can't not go in. It was my three wishes. We went. This time we were on opposite benches.
I looked at the God, then turned to the right, at him and back to God. (He didn't notice!). The feeling was so satisfying. The knowledge that these two people are there with me, beside me. The only two people who knows everything about me and still trust me. The two people who have seen me making mistakes. And still coming out of all of it alive. Oh I drifted off I guess.
Anyway, we left the church.
We reached the bus stop. He was insistent on not letting me have the pleasure of taking auto. And wanted a perfect end to the day with the bus. So yes, we took the bus. We talked. Again! All the while being interrupted by Ambady and Nikhila ma'am.
Then we got down somewhere. Walked. And the auto came... And it was time to go. I got in, looked at him. He said Bye. Message when you reach. And that was it. Goodbye!
What he doesn't know,is that till he was out of sight, my eyes were on him. I wanted to take the most of this perfect day.
