So my grandparents were in Greece and Rome for vacation, and came back a few days later.

My grandmother gave me a bracelet that had an Athena charm on it, and an Eye of Luck charm.

She told me that she asked the woman who gave it to her if she knew Percy Jackson. Know what the woman said?

"Horrible. Entirely inaccurate. A disgrace to Greek culture."

I was so fucking mad.

But then I learned that she has apparently only seen the movies, and so I respect her for voicing the entire PJO/HoO fandom's anger.

My grandma asked if she wanted me for her to email the woman, but I said no, and that she should win an award for finally saying what we were all thinking.

Then I ranted for an hour on how bad the movies were.
