PERCY POV

I say bye to Sophie and walk towards my locker. Once I near my locker, I see a girl reading a book who's leaning at my locker. Zeus she looks so much like Annabeth.

I go up to her and say, "Hi excuse me this is my locker."

She swiftly looks up and says, "I know Seaweed Brain that's why I'm here!" For a moment I'm surprised but then I pull her into a kiss. I missed her so much. I missed her lemony scent. I hear someone cough and we jump apart with our hands intertwined. I look for the source of the cough and find Sophie. God why doesn't she get it. She's always touching me and flirting.

Anyways the bell rings and we all disperse. I look at Annabeth and ask her, "What are you doing here, Wise Girl."

"We can talk later but can you first show me my class?" She says, pointing at her schedule. I look at her first period and se AP Lit. Perfect she has the same class as me, I think, cheering internally, while I say, "You have the same first period as me so come on." And I lead her to English.

I head to the back while she heads towards to the front. Then I realize what she's doing. Fine, I think, not wanting her to be alone. I signal to my friends, who I usually sit with, that I'm gonna sit with Annabeth. I sit with her and listen to Paul call attendance. Once he's done he introduces Annabeth and starts to continue our English lecture about the The Great Gatsby. Apparently Annabeth loved the book and knew it by heart, so Annabeth and I catch up. When the bell rings, I get up quickly and pack up, waiting for Annabeth. Once she's done she says, "I have Physics next. What about you?"

"I have Chem", I say, as I see Anthony looking at us.

"Hey Annabeth! I couldn't help but overhear your conversation and I have Physics next too. So maybe I we could go together.", Anthony interjects.

"Thanks Anthony. Bye Percy see you later!", Annabeth says, and leaves with Anthony. I glare at Anthony and go over to Ethan, Logan, and Sophie where they start questioning me about Annnabeth. Once we reach Chem we sit down and they start teasing me about her. Gods this is going to be a long day.

SOPHIE POV

I see Percy and the girl walk into English together. After they stopped kissing the bell rang so everyone hurried to their classes. I thought I would be able to ask who she was but apparently she also had this class. Great, I think sarcastically. When Mr.Blowfish the girl he lets her introduce herself. She says her name is Annabeth Chase, wants to be an architect once she's older, and

Once class finally ends I see them talking and Anthony going up to them. I see Percy glare at Anthony as they Anthony and Annabeth leave. Percy then starts walking towards Logan, Ethan and I. Immediately we start questioning him. Slowly I realize she's not even close to competition. I mean come on once I ask him out he's not even going to hesitate. She loves books, studies all day and wants to be an architect. Like come on they are complete opposites, however, Percy and I are so similar. We both are popular while Annabeth's a nerd. Percy is swim teams captain and I'm volleyball team captain and I am lead cheerleader and by the looks of her I doubt she even plays a sport.
