Last night, I went to this parade that my place does, which is called Eve. It isn't as big as a typical New Orleans parade, but it still would make someone's Fat Tuesday, although yesterday was Valentine's Day. There are usually a lot of special ladies called maids in Eve parades. I don't know how they're picked (I don't know anything about my culture)...
