IF YOU USE THE
FOLLOWING TUTORIAL
PLEASE GIVE CREDIT
WHERE THE CREDIT IS DUE.

STEP ONE) open up superimpose and pick your background color according to the color of the background of your foreground. Use the Bi-liner gradient to blend the picture and the background. Merge when done.

STEP TWO) now add this add on and place it under overlay. Use the magic brush to wipe out the withe side. Adjust everything to what you think best. Merge when done.

STEP THREE) get your beautiful paint splattered and change the color to either black or white. The choice of color really depends on the mood/theme of your cover. I would usually go for black but since my cover is more on the brighter side, I thought why not try white for one. Once you have your splatter where you like it, go ahead and save your cover.

STEP FOUR) open Phonto and add your title. I recommend not to add a quote since it will look too crowded. The font I use was Lemon Milk.

Now you can easily be done here but if you don't think your background and foreground don't match then you can change the color to adjust it to where you like.

Open up Polarr and go under the HSL tab. Pick whatever color you would like and just mess around with it.
I was normally going with a light blue but somehow green caught my attention and I just started Turing it green.
The HSL tab is honestly a light savior when it comes to matching up your images. It's a thing of beauty.

Once you got the color you wanted, your done.

(Sorry about the inactivity on this book. These past few weeks have been something else with STAAR and stuff. Plus I have been super lazy with just everything so I mean....oops. More tutorials to come though! I'm think about making a tutorial on how I make my pngs, let me know if I should! It's quite simply how I do them.)
