Peacemaker glided down to the prey center, choosing a goat to carry to a peaceful place to eat. So far, he visited all his classrooms, and talked to his denamates; Cloud the Skywing, Beaver the Mudwing, Creek the Seawing, Sandstorm the Sandwing, Snow the Icewing, and Macaw the Rainwing. Beaver, Creek and Sandstorm were good fighters. Sandstorm on more of the unfriendly side.

Tearing of a leg, Peacemaker snapped off the hoof with worry. What was his mother doing?

"Hi, are you Peacemaker?" Starflight's blind eyes fixed on him.

"Yup," Peacemaker said. "I wanted to ask if you had any scrolls of Nightwing history."

Starflight's eyes glowed. "Ah, and interesting topic. I must have a few... Here!" he said, pulling out a scroll from the middle of a shelf.

"Wow, that was fast!" Peacemaker said, impressed. "I would like to check this out."

Starflight clasped his talons together. "Great. I'll just stamp your name on the bottom of the scroll. Here, keep it," he started, stamping the scroll and handing it to Peacemaker. "When you're done, return it, and I'll stamp another thing over it, to show you returned it. I'll also stamp something onto this small scroll I'll give you, so you can keep track of what you checked out," he said confidently. "Here, I'll give you a pouch to hold your things in."

After Peacemaker said thanks, he flew to his room and opened the scroll.

Nightwings

Nightwings are one of the seven Pyrrhian tribes and the most mysterious. Once known to have mindreading, and able to see the future. This was proven to be true by one dragon: Moonwatcher, currently a graduate of Jade Mountain Academy.

Moonwatcher: Moonwatcher, preferring the nickname "Moon", is a female NightWing dragonet. Raised in the Rainforest Kingdom by Secretkeeper until the age of four, Moonwatcher was born under two full moons, granting her true prophetic and mind-reading abilities that the NightWings had lacked for nearly a century. Moonwatcher is small, with cool, smooth, shiny purplish-black scales that are imbued with hints of dark blue and green. She has one glittering silver scale on the outside corner of each of her dark green eyes, like a teardrop about to fall.

Father: Morrowseer

Morrowseer: Morrowseer was an adult male Nightwing. He helped fabricate the Dragonet Prophecy and was one of Queen Battlewinner's most trusted advisors, but he was later killed by a volcanic explosion on the NightWing island. He was formerly in a relationship with Secretkeeper and was the father of Moonwatcher, though he never knew. Morrowseer had black-on-black scales that were described to look like a bottomless pit. The star scales on the underside of his wings curled inward like a snail shell and glittered from a great distance, casting a cold glow. He had heavy talons, black eyes, a black snout, strong claws and bright white teeth, as well as light gray spikes running down his back.

Clearsight: Clearsight was an adult female NightWing. Under one full moon, she was hatched with exceptionally powerful foresight and formerly served as Queen Vigilance's Head Seer for a short amount of time while she resided within the Night Kingdom. Was Darkstalker's girlfriend. Before her death, she used her precognitive abilities to create the Book of Clearsight. In the modern era, most dragons who inhabit Pantala worship and pray to Clearsight, seeing her as a divine being of guidance and wisdom. Clearsight had large dark purple eyes, black scales, and black wings. She was beautiful, and sleek.

Darkstalker: Darkstalker was an ancient NightWing-IceWing hybrid.. The most powerful dragon in Pyrrhian history, Darkstalker was hatched with animus magic, mind-reading, and prophetic powers, on the brightest night. He was in a relationship with Clearsight until she and Fathom were forced to trap him beneath Jade Mountain, by using an enchanted bracelet that put him into a deep sleep for many centuries. Was Clearsight's boyfriend. Darkstalker had ebony black scales and dark midnight-black wings, appearing as almost a pure NightWing except for a line of icy, white, silvery IceWing scales where his wings met his body, which Clearsight described to be cold when touched. He had one silver teardrop scale on the outward corner of each of his dark eyes, which indicated that he was a mind reader, and he had eyes which were as black as underground caverns. He had a narrow, handsome face, long, twisted horns, and was, after reemerging from Agate Mountain, enormous, at least three times as tall as the largest living dragons. His huge wingspan was as wide as Agate Mountain, and he had a very long neck. He wore a plain, white, half-hoop earring made of bone in his left ear. He was handsome and powerfully built, with scales that felt as hard as armor due to his enchantment. He moved slowly and purposefully and spoke in a cavernous, booming, low rumble.

I must be a mind reader, Peacemaker guessed. His eyes jumped across Clearsight's section. Every time he saw her name made him angry and sad at the same time. Unable to stand the feelings any longer, Peacemaker closed the scroll and tucked it safely into his pouch, and laid on his bed. I miss you, Clearsight.
