'Ah an..nyeong...Jaehyun Oppa..' I said, bowing. I saw Elena's eyes widen from behind him.
'Omo, you know me?' He laughed, and I nodded slowly.
'Ne. I...love NCT..' I said, looking down.
'Ah, ok, that's good to know.' He smiled warmly at me, then bowed. 'It was nice to meet you. Annyeong.'
'Annyeong...' I mumbled, glancing at him, and watched him walk off along the long corridor.
'Omg, that was JAEHYUN??' I heard Elena whisper-shout from behind me.
'Mhmm..' I sighed, still watching him.
'Why didn't you say anything then??' She asked, her expression a mixture of pure disappointment and shock.
'I just..well, think about it.' I started. 'He came out from a room here. So potentially he could be living here. Or maybe his friend lives here I don't know. And if he does visit here often, then it means I might-'
'-So you're living near him omg!'
'No, I mean.. I doubt he's living here without the other members.' I explained. 'And plus, they have NCT Life seasons and concerts and all anyway, so realistically, I don't think I'll actually see him that much anyway...'
Elena looked at me with a strong look of disappointment, and I started to feel the self-consciousness build up.
'W..what?' I asked her, breaking eye contact and looking down at the floor at my feet.
'You should have told him!' She said. 'You probably won't have got a better chance!'
'I know I'm bad at this but I physically can't!' I exclaimed, feeling some sort of embarrassment building up inside of me. 'I just CAN'T. I'm not that confident!'
'Yeah but ...' She started, but I think she realised there wasn't much point in explaining this case to me. 'Oh well, it's fine, let's just go to your apartment?'
'Hm..' I mumbled, then started walking with Elena right next to me. Within less than ten seconds, we were outside the apartment numbered H17. I swiped my card at the wooden door, and opened it to a very well-lit, large hall, with a small set of stairs leading down to a large area with an extended black sofa set, a TV fixed to the wall, and various other things which left me amazed.
'O.M.G.' Elena exclaimed, putting her bags down immediately and exploring the rooms. I followed her.
'This is like a mini house, honestly, it's amazing!!' She said, finding my bedroom and lying down on it.
'Mhm..' I smiled. 'That explains why there were such big gaps between each door, I guess.'
'Yeah, I knowww.' She said, sitting up. 'Btw...'
'Yes..?'
'Where would I be sleeping..?'
I looked around the room, trying to find a reply to her sudden question.
'Well, um... you... can..' I stammered, not knowing what to say. 'Wait I know! Both of us can sleep in the living room! We'll watch kpop videos ALL night, it'll be great!'
'Omg yess, that's a great idea!' She exclaimed, clapping her hands.
'How to clap - the wikihow question answered by Jungkook.' I said, clapping my hands once. Both of us burst out laughing at the same time, and Elena did it as well.
'Ah Jungkook~' I laughed, wiping the small tear that had formed on the corner of my eye because I was laughing so much. 'Let's go though, I need to educate you on NCT!'
'Ah, hmmm.....' She said, giving me a look which I know said 'I would prefer to watch BTS videos.' Sure enough, she questioned me asking whether we can watch BTS vids instead.
'You need to know about NCT if you're going to go to the fanmeet though!' I explained. 'I mean, imagine; you're at the fanmeet and then you go up to, I don't know, Jaehyun, and you're like "Annyeong haseyo Taeyong! I love your rapping!"
Elena laughed. 'Yeah..true.. but I won't say anything like that anyway, I'll probably just say "Annyeong haseyo!" And then go.'
This time, I gave her a look which was meant to say 'Are you being serious?'
'Let's just watch it anyway.' I told her. 'You'll like them, you like Cherry Bomb and Limitless right now anyway.'
'Ok, fine, fine.' She replied, getting up. 'Lemme just change first, it's so late.'
