Chapter 32

A couple of weeks later, I was sitting on my bed, hugging my knees and smiling to myself at the thought of being married to him. The one and only. My first and last.

The past few weeks had gone in a flash, and now here I was, waiting for Mark to show up outside my door and take me to the church, an excited mess in a long white bridal dress.

Taeyong and Claire were going to get married next year, after she turned 18 years old; having almost finished her studies and getting ready to take up a career as a choreographer at SM.

A knock at the door.

I rushed downstairs as fast as I could in my dress, and opened it.

The first thing I did was gulp as my smile was wiped off my face.

Jungkook was standing there, and seemed as surprised to see me as I was to see him, which was weird considering that this was my house.

'You-you're getting married today?'

I nodded. 'Y-yes...'

Awkward silence.

'Ae Sook-ah!' I heard Mark's voice in the distance, and looking in the direction, I saw him run up to us in a black suit over a white shirt and black trousers.

'I'm..sorry..I'm..late..' He gasped for breath, making me laugh.

'It's fine Mark.' I smiled. 'Gaja~?'

He nodded, pointing towards a limousine that was parked a few metres off.

'Hyung made these arrangements for you.'

I felt my cheeks flush pink with some sort of weird feeling in my stomach and a smile spreading across my face.

'Wait.' I heard Jungkook say as I started to make my way towards the limousine, and I stopped, turning around slowly to face him.

'Have a happy married life...' He mumbled, before turning around and walking off in the opposite direction, leaving me standing there.

I glanced at Mark; he looked as confused as I felt, but once again he caught me looking at him, and his mouth widened to a grin.

'Let's actually go now, hm? Don't want to keep Hyung waiting.' He laughed, and I shook my head at him, laughing and following him into the limousine.

A while later, I stepped out of the limousine in front of the church. Gulping, I looked up at it, and suddenly remembered the first time I went to South Korea; seeing Elena there, going into those apartments and seeing him there. Everything that happened with Jungkook, and he suddenly appeared again like he was always meant to be there. Everything that I had done to him, hurt him, upset him... yet now here I was, back to him.

A tear dropping from my eye, I stepped into the church, my arm interlinked with Mark's, who led me down the aisle in front the beautiful boy who was smiling down at me as I made my way up to him.

'Jagi, why are you crying?' He whispered to me as I stepped up next to him.

'I... they're tears of happiness.' I smiled as he took my hands in his and the priest started reciting.

'Jung Jaehyun... do you take Jeon Ae Sook to be your wife?'

'I do.'

'Jeon Ae Sook, do you-'

'Yes!'

The whole hall burst into laughter, and I looked down shyly as the heat rose to my cheeks.

'Well then...' The priest continued, trying to stop laughing himself. 'I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.'

I closed my eyes as he leaned in, and felt his soft lips touch mine as they made contact, his arms wrapping round my body and mine entangled round his neck.

For a minute I forgot we were standing in front of so many people, until he broke away from the kiss, beaming at me.
