Not long after that, Ty and I discovered that we were part ender.

Ty: We were scared to death that mom would find out, so we had to be careful while showing dad and when we would use our magic.

But if course I'm stupid and I decided to use my magic and teleport into the kitchen to get food. Unfortunately, Mom was in there and found out.

*Flashback*

"Hey, hey Bubby, I'm hungry. Will you come with me to the kitchen?" I ask Ty. He nods. I smile and grab his arm and we teleport into the kitchen, in which mom is just walking out of. Uh oh. I hope she didn't see us. She then turns around and looks at us with that same angry expression she once gave me.

"Why are you two glowing purple like an enderman?" She asks angrily. Ty pulls me behind him, but I poke my head around to see what's happening.

"You two are no longer my children. Stay out of my sight!" Mom screams. She then slaps Ty in the face and then looks at me.

"Hurt me all you want, but don't lay a hand on her. She's only 5."  He says.

"What's going on?" Someone asks. I look over and see Dad in his work uniform.

"Oh, you're home early, honey." Mom says innocently.

"Yeah we were let out early. What was going on before I came in?" Dad asks with suspicion in his voice.

"She was-"

"I was just telling them about what happens at school." Mom interrupted me. I give her a scowl look.

"Then why does Tyler have a red handprint on his cheek? Besides, Crystal looks scared out of her mind. That doesn't happen when you're talking about school." Dad explains and crosses his arms.

"Crystal slapped him." Mom simply says.

"I don't believe that." Dad says.

*End*

Dad didn't find out that mom was abusing us until months later when he caught mom kicking Ty. He killed her because he knew a restraining order would not stop Abby. So, he told Ty and I to stay in the house and that he and Abby were going on a walk to discuss things.

Ty: But, being us, we followed them into the woods and watched them argue and fight, an Boy was it bloody.

*Flashback*

"Why are you abusing them like this?" Dad asks mom.

"Because hybrids are nothing but monsters." Mom growls.

"But these kids aren't. They're the sweetest kids you'll ever have. They always do what they're told and they very rarely ever fight. And besides, if you didn't want hybrid kids, why even bother marrying me?!" Dad yells.

"Bubby, what's he talking about?" I ask Ty. Ty shrugs.

"What are you talking about Conner?" Mom asks. Dad takes a deep breath and enderdragon wings, like ours, grow on his back. Ty and I gasp. Dad's part ender too? Mom just looks at him in astonishment, then anger.

"You're right, why did I ever marry you?! All 3 of you are just a disgrace and nothing but monsters!" Mom yells.

"Good! Then don't come near me or my kids ever again!" Dad growls.

"But, I have the right to, since I gave birth to both of them." Mom smirks. Dad shoots a purple spell at her and it hits her in the arm, making it gush out blood. Oh no.

*End*

I don't think I've held onto Ty's arm that tight before. My nails were literally in his skin.

Ty: I have scars from it too.
