Chapter Two

LUNA'S POV

I heard the sound of Olivia's brother's car honk outside. "Yes!" I cheered "Bye! Love you!" I barely heard my family reply as I sprinted to the back seat of the Lexus. "Are you excited!?" Olivia asked as my seat belt buckled into place. "Are you kidding!?" I've been waiting for this my whole life! Or at least 2/3 of my life!" Olivia laughed. "Let's go Talen!" she commanded. Talen started the car and began driving down the street. I caught him glancing at me through the rear-view mirrors a couple times. He's been acting like this for about a month now, I don't really know what it's about. I think he likes me. NO, Luna! Get that out of your head! He's 18, your 16. It's not going to happen...

We drove for hours. I fell asleep three times, and Olivia slept the whole time. I offered to drive twice, but Talen replied, and I quote, "No, it's alright. You should get your beauty sleep..." We stopped at a Redburry Hotel at 3:52 a.m. that day. Talen and I were totally exhausted, while Olivia looked like she could run a marathon. I had finished the song I have been writing for a week. And I am very proud of it... (A/N: Again, my song! DO NOT JUDGE OR STEAL)

I used to be, a scared little one.

I used to think, that I wasn't all that strong.

Used to curl in a ball and suck on my thumb.

Until I grew, into a fighter! And now...

I'm fighting fearless!

Fighting fearless!

I'm not scared any longer!

All this fear is gone!

Because now I am stronger!

Stronger... stronger.

Prepare... to be... amazed!

Nothing ever will be the same,

now that I have changed.

I've captured the final moments,

of the scared and reckless motions.

But now...

I'm fighting fearless!

Fighting fearless!

I'm not scared any longer!

All this fear is gone!

Because now I am stronger!

Stronger... stronger.

Sing it loud and sing it proud!

Now bring it low... oh!

I am now fighting fearless... fearless fearless.

You've made me tearless tearless.

And now I'm fearless fearless...

I'm fighting fearless!

Fighting fearless!

I'm not scared any longer!

All this fear is gone!

Because now I am stronger!

Stronger... stronger.

There is no way!

That ever again, I won't be okay!

Because I'm a stronger fighter. Fighter.

And when I fall down...

I pick myself up!

Yeah!

I'm fighting fearless!

Fighting fearless!

I'm not scared any longer!

All this fear is gone!

Because now I am stronger!

Stronger... stronger.

"Okay!" Talen announced, slightly yawning "Time for bed. I-you! You have a long day tomorrow!" I giggled. Olivia and I rushed to our room. There were two; mine and Olivia's, and Talen's. It was originally going to be Talen and Olivia sharing a room, but I didn't want to be by myself. "I'm not tired!" Olivia shouted, jumping on one of the beds "Let's watch television!" But before she could pick up the remote, I smacked her hand, "NO! We need our rest so we can meet Taylor tomorrow!" Olivia settled down, but rolled her eyes, "You do realize that the opportunity to meet her is literally 1 million to 1... right?" I wriggled underneath the covers, grasping the top with my palms, "Well... that must mean that I have to be... the 1." I yawned and fell fast asleep.

Beep! Beep! Beep! I was about press the snooze button, but then I remembered that today's the day! I clicked off, got up, made my bed, ate breakfast, and got ready for the day. I wore the same thing I wore yesterday, I did my make-up and screamed, "GUYS! IT'S TIME!!!!!" Talen came into our room with an alarmed look and nothing but his boxers. I couldn't help but stare. He was very well built... He had a six-pack, v-line, and bisceps that you'd just want to squeeze, and- Shut up Luna! I honestly hope he didn't catch me staring.

He didn't seem to mind, because he was too busy staring at me. "Wow, Luna! Y-You look... good," I smiled, "Thanks. Um, I'd say the same for you, but..." He looked down, then up, then blushed. I giggled. As soon as Olivia and Talen were ready, we drove to the stadium where the concert was being held. Thankfully we got there a little earlier than everyone, we didn't have to wait so long to get in. I ran towards our row. There were already more than 2,000 people, so... you can probably guess how that went. We got into row 89. "You girls ready?" Talen asked. Olivia nodded anxiously, "I am so ready!" I agreed, "Yes!" I shouted "I just..." I lowered into a whisper "...can't wait for it to start."

TAYLOR'S POV

I was in my dressing room being prepped for the concert. My manager, Dan, came up to me, "Tay! You look absolutely fabulous! On stage in 10!" I nod, "Okay, Dan!" My stylists, Joseph and Karlie, were almost done with my hair and wardrobe. Karlie applied my red lipstick, and Joseph finished untangling the last tastles on my gold wedges. "Ready?" The stadium's assistant executive asked, handing me a microphone. "Yes," I answer. Then I walk onto the stage. Behind the curtain, I see the lights dim and the crowd cheering with it. I'm starting off with "Welcome to New York." I go over the lyrics in my head, then the curtain opens and the music starts

"Walking through a crowd

The village is aglow

Kaleidoscope of loud

Heartbeats under coats

Everybody here

Wanted something more

Searching for a sound we hadn't

Heard before

And it said Welcome to New York

It's been waiting for you

Welcome to New York

Welcome to New York

Welcome to New York

It's been waiting for you

Welcome to New York

Welcome to New York

Welcome to New York..."

The songs after that got the crowd cheering harder than ever. As soon as it ended I smiled, waved, and said, "Thank you!" I gave a quick bow before exiting the stage. My mom was there, extending her arms for a hug, which I gladly gave. "You were on fire, Taylor!" she exclaimed. "Thank you, mom." I beamed. My dad soon joined us, "Scott! Your late!" mom criticized. "It's okay! He's here isn't he?" I hugged my dad. "Good job, baby girl." Although I'm 26, I'm still his "baby girl." I chuckled, "You staying for the after party? I know mom gets to choose the people I get to meet, but you should stay." He shook his head, "Sorry, pumpkin. I wish I could, but my company is really busy... Maybe next time." I look at the ground, "Oh, okay. See you later...then," He waves goodbye and disappears behind the press.

"I'll go choose the fans." my mom said, leaving me to deal with the press. I wonder which lucky fans I'll meet...
