Chapter 13: The Virgin's Rage
Anto (WWII Anthony) burst out laughing.
Loud. Wheezing. Slapping his knee.
Damn near in tears.
"Man—y'all should've SEEN your faces!"
Ant groaned, rubbing his temples. "Nigga, why was that your FIRST question?"
Ani crossed her arms, face red as hell. "And why the hell are you laughing so hard?!"
Anto wiped a tear. "Because it's funny as hell! Look at y'all—y'all acting like I just dropped some war secrets."
KGB Anthony raised an eyebrow. "So, from this reaction, I assume... none of us have lost it?"
Silence.
Anthony leaned forward, deadpanning. "Ruskie, did you?"
KGB Anthony smirked. "...Nyet."
Ant threw his hands up. "THEN WHY THE HELL YOU TRYNA EXPOSE US?!"
Anto choked on another laugh. "Because I thought maybe ONE of y'all had some damn success! But no—turns out we ALL got the same tragic-ass past!"
Annie (WWII Antoinette) shook her head. "Well, this is just depressing."
Antoku (Samurai Anthony) sighed. "A warrior's path is often lonely."
Samurai Antoinette nodded. "Discipline leaves no time for fleeting pleasures."
Future Anthony grinned. "Oh, please. Don't make it sound poetic. We all just got played by a hoe."
All versions of Anthony and Antoinette went dead silent.
Then—
"BITCH. DON'T BRING THAT SHIT UP."
Ant leaned back, sighing violently.
Ani kicked the coffee table. "I swear, if I ever see that nigga again—"
Anto nodded. "Oh, he gettin' a beaten on sight."
KGB Antoinette smirked. "Oh? Revenge?"
Ani cracked her knuckles. "REVENGE? BOYO, THIS IS JUSTICE."
Samurai Antoinette nodded in approval. "A woman who betrays a warrior's trust is lower than dirt."
Antoku huffed. "A dishonorable wretch. No sword could wash away that disgrace."
Future Anthony chuckled. "Damn, we really ALL got done dirty, huh?"
Ant sighed. "Ain't that some multiversal bullshit?"
Future Antoinette shrugged. "In every timeline, some things never change."
Anto grumbled. "Man, I fought in World War II and STILL got cheated on."
Annie scoffed. "Brother, same. You'd think fighting Nazis would get you SOME loyalty."
KGB Anthony leaned back, smirking. "Hah. And here I thought heartbreak was just another weapon of the West."
Ant glared. "I will THROW something at you."
After a long silence, Ani finally sighed, rubbing her temples.
"Aight, so now we know. All versions of us are virgins. All versions of us hate our ex. And all versions of us got fucked over in some way."
Future Anthony smirked. "But at least we all look good while suffering."
Everyone groaned.
Anto grinned. "Nah, but for real—if any more of us show up and they got a SUCCESSFUL relationship, we JUMPING them."
Antis (Future Anthony) grinned. "Agreed."
A sudden knock at the door made everyone freeze mid-conversation.
Then, a familiar voice—their voice—called out. "Uh... may we come in?"
Ant immediately narrowed his eyes.
Ani groaned. "Oh HELL no, not more of us—"
Anto (WWII Anthony) instinctively reached for his rifle. "Lady, who ELSE could it be at this point?!"
Ant sighed, marching toward the door. "If it's another damn version of me, I'm gonna lose my mind."
He pulled the door open—
And immediately regretted it.
Standing at the doorstep were two more versions of them.
But these ones?
They weren't human anymore.
They were Kitsune.
Kitsune Anthony stood tall, ears twitching, golden fur streaked with black patches. His nine tails swayed behind him, his sharp fox-like eyes studying the group with an amused glint.
Kitsune Antoinette looked almost the same, her tails flicking slightly, an air of mischief in her expression. Her long silver-white hair flowed down her back, and the traditional kimono she wore almost made her look like some ancient spirit.
Ant internally screamed.
Outwardly? He just stood there.
Blinking.
Processing.
Struggling.
Finally, after a long pause, he said the only thing that came to mind.
"Fuck..."
Ani facepalmed. "Why? Just... WHY?"
Anto stared. "...This has to be a joke."
Annie (WWII Antoinette) looked between them and Samurai Antora. "This y'all's fault, ain't it?"
Antoku (Samurai Anthony) huffed. "Do not blame me for this madness."
Kitsune Anthony simply smirked. "Ah, so I take it you weren't expecting us?"
Ant clenched his jaw. "I WASN'T EXPECTING ANY OF THIS, NIGGA."
Kitsune Antoinette giggled. "Oh, this is going to be fun."
Kitsune Anthony's smirk faded slightly. "Listen. We didn't come just to mess with you. Turn on the TV."
That got everyone's attention.
Ant and Ani exchanged looks.
"...Oh."
Ant grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.
And what they saw?
Made the entire room go dead silent.
BREAKING NEWS:
STRANGE PHENOMENON OCCURRING WORLDWIDE—MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF "DOPPELGÄNGERS" APPEARING. GOVERNMENTS SCRAMBLE FOR ANSWERS.
SCIENTISTS REPORT UNEXPLAINABLE TEARS IN REALITY. MULTIVERSE COLLAPSE IMMINENT?
The footage showed massive glowing fractures in the sky, growing larger.
People across the world were panicking.
Some were meeting their alternate selves. Others were disappearing entirely.
Governments were in crisis mode.
A scientist on-screen looked visibly shaken.
"We are witnessing something unprecedented. The fabric of reality itself is breaking apart. If this continues, we may experience a full multiversal rupture."
Ant slowly turned the TV off.
Then, just as slowly, turned back toward the group.
"...So, y'all telling me the MULTIVERSE is ACTUALLY breaking?"
Kitsune Anthony nodded. "And if we don't figure this out, all of our realities might collapse in on each other."
That got everyone's attention immediately.
WWII Anto tightened his grip on his rifle. "Jesus, I just got here, and you telling me the world might END?"
Samurai Antora folded her arms. "A battle against time itself... intriguing."
Future Antis stood up. "Well, shit. That escalated fast."
Ant groaned, rubbing his face. "Nigga, I just wanted some goddamn Chef Boyardee."
Ani threw her hands up. "AND NOW WE GOTTA SAVE THE MULTIVERSE."
Ant rubbed his temples, staring at the now-black screen of the TV, his brain on fire from everything that just happened.
The multiverse was collapsing.
They had way too many versions of themselves in one room.
And now?
These niggas wanna act like they're the Avengers or some shit.
Ant exhaled slowly.
Then turned toward Kitsune Anthony.
And pointed.
"Nigga. There is no 'we.'"
Kitsune Anthony raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Ant gestured around wildly. "Foxy, do you see ANY superheroes in this room?!"
Ani groaned, slouching into the couch. "This ain't an anime, bro. We ain't got superpowers, magic, or some hidden-ass destiny."
Anto (WWII Anthony) nodded. "Yeah, unless one of y'all got some kinda secret plan to fix this, we're kinda just... here."
KGB Anthony leaned forward, steepling his fingers. "Then what do you suggest? Sit back and wait for reality to break?"
Ant pointed at him next. "Boi, I don't KNOW! What the hell do we DO?!"
Silence.
Then—
Future Antis (Future Anthony) smirked. "You know, this would be a lot easier if we were some kind of chosen ones."
Ant glared. "Negro, we are not chosen. We are just regular-ass people who just so happen to have too many versions of themselves walking around at the same time."
Annie (WWII Antoinette) sighed. "Yeah, so unless you got some sci-fi space fix for this, I don't see how we're supposed to do anything."
Future Antia (Future Antoinette) tapped her wrist interface. "Actually... I do have something."
Everyone turned toward her.
Ant crossed his arms. "Lady, you better NOT say 'time machine' or some bullshit like that."
Future Antia smirked. "Not a time machine. But something close."
She tapped her wrist again, and suddenly—
A holographic interface appeared in midair.
It displayed a series of unstable energy readings.
MULTIVERSAL STABILITY: 46%
DECAY RATE: INCREASING
POTENTIAL COLLAPSE IN: UNKNOWN
Anto squinted. "The hell are we looking at?"
Future Antis stood up. "These are readings from my universe. The multiversal rupture isn't just happening here—it's happening across all realities."
Ant threw up his hands. "AND WHAT THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT THAT?!"
Future Antia grinned. "Find the source."
Ant blinked. "What source?"
Future Antis pointed at the hologram. "The rupture has a center. Something caused this. If we find it, we might be able to stop it before everything gets worse."
Kitsune Anthony nodded. "Which means we need to start looking. Fast."
Ant leaned back, staring at the ceiling. "I hate this. I hate this so much."
Ani groaned. "And just HOW are we supposed to track the 'source of the rupture?'"
Future Antia smirked. "Leave that to me."
Anto crossed his arms. "Well, damn. Guess we just got drafted into fixing the multiverse."
Ant sighed deeply. "I hate my life."
The group sat in stunned silence, barely processing the fact that they were now tasked with fixing the goddamn multiverse.
Then—
BOOM!
CRACK!
A deep rumbling of thunder shook the entire house, rattling the windows.
Lightning flashed, but it wasn't the usual kind.
This lightning was red.
And it wasn't just coming from the clouds.
It was splitting across the sky like glass cracking apart.
Anto (WWII Anthony) stood up first, instinctively reaching for his rifle. "The fuck was that?!"
KGB Anthony followed suit, his hand already inside his coat like he was ready to pull out some Cold War assassination shit.
Future Antis tapped his wrist interface, scanning the sky. "Oh... that's not good."
Ant and Ani exchanged glances. Then, without a word, they both got up and ran outside.
The others followed immediately.
And when they all stepped onto the porch?
They looked up.
And froze.
Because the sky was NOT the same anymore.
Earths.
Dozens of them.
Maybe even hundreds.
Floating just beyond the atmosphere.
Some looked perfectly normal.
Others looked slightly different—darker, covered in massive city lights or strange land formations.
And then there were the dead ones.
Barren wastelands, burnt landscapes, cities in ruins.
The air grew unnervingly still.
For a moment, nobody spoke.
Then Ant finally found his voice.
"I am NOT high enough for this."
Annie (WWII Antoinette) exhaled sharply. "So we just casually looking at different Earths now? Just—floating up there?"
Anto gritted his teeth. "This ain't right. Ain't nothing about this right."
Antoku (Samurai Anthony) remained silent, gazing up at the skies like a man who just witnessed his gods fall.
Antora (Samurai Antoinette) whispered, "If these are all different worlds... then that means we are not the only ones who have crossed over."
Future Antis nodded grimly. "Exactly. Which means... some of those universes might have versions of us that are not as 'friendly.'"
Ant rubbed his face. "Oh, fantastic. So, in addition to fixing reality, we might have to deal with evil us."
Kitsune Anthony smirked. "Well, that just makes things more fun."
Ani deadpanned. "Nigga, FUN?! We might be looking at alternate versions of us that are criminals, warlords, tyrants—hell, even full-blown supervillains."
Future Antia tapped her wrist interface, scanning the sky. "Some of these worlds are collapsing. Others are... stable for now. But if we don't act fast, this entire dimension will be overrun with versions of ourselves we might not be able to stop."
Ant clenched his jaw. "WHY is this happening NOW?! We been minding our business, writing stories, dealing with life, and NOW the universe wanna be on some 'Crisis on Infinite Anthonys' type bullshit?!"
Ani groaned, tilting her head back. "I swear to GOD if we run into an evil dictator version of us—"
BOOM!
A massive crack in the sky tore open, flashing bright red.
A distorted voice echoed across the air. "Hmph. Interesting. So... you are all me?"
Everyone immediately went on high alert.
Anto loaded his rifle. "Oh, fuck no."
KGB Anthony pulled out a suppressed pistol from inside his coat. "Tch. I do not like where this is going."
Future Antis narrowed his glowing eyes. "Well... guess we're about to find out how bad 'evil us' really is."
Ant?
Ant just sighed loudly.
Because he already knew.
This day was about to get a whole lot worse.
The air felt heavier.
The sky flashed red again, and two figures stepped through a massive crack in the sky—landing on the pavement just a few feet away from the group.
As the dust settled, everyone got a good look at them.
And immediately?
Shit got tense.
The two newcomers were almost identical to Ant and Ani.
Except... they weren't.
Their outfits were different.
Dark military uniforms.
Ironed, polished, cold-looking.
With a goddamn swastika armband on their sleeves.
Author's Note: Use your imagination, I ain't drawing that.
Silence.
Then—
The sound of guns being cocked.
WWII Anto's rifle was already aimed. "OH, HELL NO."
WWII Annie's sidearm was drawn. "ABSOLUTELY THE FUCK NOT."
KGB Anthony and KGB Antoinette immediately stepped forward, pistols raised, their expressions completely unreadable.
Anto snarled. "Lord, are we seriously looking at NAZI US right now?!"
Naz!Anthony and Naz!Antoinette stood calmly, hands behind their backs, not even slightly intimidated.
Naz!Anthony smirked coldly. "Hmph. So... you are all versions of me."
Naz!Antoinette tilted her head slightly, eyes sharp. "And yet, you live in... impurity."
Ant?
Ant just stood there.
Processing.
Trying not to commit a hate crime.
Then, slowly, he exhaled.
"Shit..."
Ani groaned. "I FUCKING KNEW IT!! I KNEW SOME EVIL ASS TIMELINE WAS GONNA SHOW UP. BUT NAZIS?! REALLY?!"
Anto shook his head aggressively. "Nah, nah, nah. This ain't happening. This is NOT happening."
Naz!Anthony and Naz!Antoinette remained stone-faced, eerily calm.
KGB Anthony stepped forward, gun still raised. "You should not be here."
Naz!Anthony smirked. "Oh? And why is that, Comrade? Are you frightened?"
KGB Anthony's trigger finger twitched. "Tch."
WWII Annie's jaw clenched. "I fought actual Nazis. You think I won't put one down right now?"
Naz!Antoinette smirked. "How crude. I suppose it is to be expected from lower versions of us."
Ant just stared at them.
Then sighed loudly.
Then turned to Future Antis and Future Antia. "Future niggas, please tell me y'all got a way to send these motherfuckers back."
Future Antis was already scanning them with his tech.
Future Antia nodded. "They're not supposed to be here. Their presence is making the multiversal rupture worse."
Samurai Antoku gripped his katana. "Then we cut them down."
Samurai Antora nodded. "There is no honor in letting filth remain."
Naz!Anthony smirked wider. "How fascinating! Versions of me that live like animals, that consort with the weak. And you dare to judge?"
Naz!Antoinette sneered. "Pitiful. You could be so much more if only you embraced order."
Ant just clenched his fists.
Then pointed at them. "We are NOT doing a 'join us or die' speech. Y'all need to pack it up and GET THE FUCK OUT."
Naz!Anthony tilted his head. "And if we refuse?"
WWII Anto chambered a round. "Then we gonna see which version of us is the better shot."
Naz!Antoinette smirked. "Hmph. How predictable."
The air grew tense.
Fingers hovered over triggers.
Then—
Future Antia's wrist device beeped. "I found their home reality."
Naz!Anthony narrowed his eyes. "You—"
Future Antis moved fast, activating his device.
A bright blue portal opened behind the Nazis.
And before they could react—
A sudden force PULLED them backward.
Naz!Anthony and Naz!Antoinette vanished into the swirling void.
The portal snapped shut.
Gone.
Silence.
The tension slowly faded.
Anto lowered his rifle. "...Did we just win that fight by throwing them in a portal?"
Ant exhaled sharply. "Nigga, I don't care HOW we won. I just care that them bitch-ass motherfuckers are GONE."
Ani shook her head. "Fucking NAZI versions of us? The disrespect."
WWII Annie muttered, "If I see them again, I'm shooting first. No questions."
KGB Anthony huffed. "Hmph. I almost wanted to keep them around for interrogation."
Anto side-eyed him. "Me, no."
Future Antis tapped his device. "Well, that confirms one thing."
Everyone turned to him.
Future Antis looked up at the sky. "If they could show up... then other versions of us will too. And some of them? Might be even worse."
Ant groaned loudly. "I HATE THIS."
Ani shook her head. "Multiverse, you on some bullshit."
Everyone stared at the sky.
And deep down, they all knew—
This was just the beginning.
Just as the group finally started to relax from the whole "Nazi versions of us" situation—
The sky flashed again.
A golden light burst through the clouds, illuminating the entire neighborhood.
Everyone looked up.
And what they saw?
Made things even weirder.
Two figures floated down from the sky, their capes billowing behind them.
One male, one female.
Tall, powerful, glowing with energy.
Wearing skin-tight superhero bodysuits with a sleek "A" emblem on their chests.
They landed gracefully, their presence almost godlike.
Superman Anthony and Superwoman Antoinette had arrived.
Ant just stared.
Ani? Also staring.
Anto (WWII Anthony) blinked rapidly.
Annie (WWII Antoinette) crossed her arms. "Ain't no way."
KGB Anthony narrowed his eyes. "Super-powered versions of us? This is becoming ridiculous."
Samurai Antoku tilted his head. "Fascinating. Have we ascended to gods in your world?"
Super!Anthony and Super!Antoinette exchanged a glance, then turned back to the group.
Super!Anthony's voice boomed slightly, but it wasn't aggressive—it was calm, commanding, almost heroic. "We don't have much time. The multiverse is breaking apart, and we're here to help fix it."
Super!Antoinette nodded, her glowing blue eyes scanning everyone. "You are all versions of us. That means you are in danger too."
Ant squinted.
Then pointed at them.
"Why y'all so shiny?"
Ani nodded. "And WHY the hell are y'all in some tight-ass superhero outfits?"
Silence.
Then—
Everyone accidentally took another look at the skin-tight suits.
And immediately regretted it.
Anto looked away aggressively. "NOPE. Nope, nope, nope, not doing this."
Annie also looked away. "WHY is EVERY version of us BUILT?!"
KGB Antoinette smirked slightly. "Hmph. It seems we are blessed with good genetics in all timelines."
Samurai Antora simply nodded in approval. "Strength is necessary. Even in absurd outfits."
Super!Antoinette folded her arms. "We don't have time for distractions."
Super!Anthony sighed. "You all need to focus—"
Ant cut him off. "Nigga, how we supposed to focus when y'all built like Greek gods?!"
Ani clapped her hands together. "Yo, real talk—do y'all even work out or is that just 'Superpower Genetics' doing the heavy lifting?"
Super!Antoinette raised an eyebrow. "Both."
Everyone groaned.
"Oh, COME ON!"
Super!Anthony cleared his throat. "Look. The multiverse is spiraling out of control. We're working with others—versions of us who also want to fix this."
Super!Antoinette nodded. "But we need to move fast. If we don't locate the core of the rupture, things will get worse."
Future Antis stepped forward. "Do you have any leads? We detected fluctuations across several realities."
Super!Antony pulled up a holographic map from his gauntlet. "This is where the distortion is strongest."
It highlighted a massive glowing area in the distance.
Anto squinted. "Say... that looks like D.C."
Super!Antoinette nodded. "The rupture's core is forming there. We need to go now."
Ant sighed, running a hand down his face. "I hate how this just became a superhero team-up movie."
Ani groaned. "Boyo, at this point, we might as well just roll with it."
Super!Anthony smirked. "Then let's get moving. Time is running out."
Everyone nodded.
They didn't have a choice.
It was time to save the multiverse.
