'And after so many years, she came back to her city in the same Coffee shop where she has spent her happy and sad moments with her gang. Today with Jimmy Gold. She could see her life crossing in front of her eyes. Their fixed booth. Conversations till 4 AM. Saturday night playing juit box. The same city where she was left alone by her grumpy boyfriend Bill Hodge  at the time when she was pregnant with his child. Left alone over a theft case to rot in the prison. Now she enters the shop with Jimmy with all the powers in her hand, to turn the cards as she want. With Jimmy in front of her, she notices Bill was there too with his wife. Both of them don't talk anything with each other as if the other person doesn't exist there. Mourning over the coffee. Looking around the shop or outside the window to passers by without uttering any word to their partners. Bill seemed as bored with his life instead of the time when once he had everything when he was with Diana. And Diana looks at her partner Jimmy, with whom she has spent con works, with whom she is ready to spent the rest of her life. She remembers how Bill had not even bothered to help her when she was in prison for the crime she has not even committed, how he has abandoned her daughter  who had died at the time of birth in prison. She thinks to confront Bill, but looking at his misery and boredom. Diana realizes that eventually she got her revenge.'

Damaged women's are the most dangerous kind, because they know how to survive !

"Oh My God....." Sabrina takes the book in her hand hugs it tightly and looks deliberately over it 'once I am also gonna be a heroic women like Diana Subnis' Sabrina just finished the 2nd part of the book named 'Don't be afraid of the dark' which was a squeal of 'One of the dark kind'. Both the books depicting the protagonist Diana Subnis, describing the hardships of the women in the 20th century. Diana was the star of Sabrina's life. The hero ! The story line of part one book was when Diana had to take psychological treatments from a hospital, when she in college and  had undergone many shock treatments. The book described the  life of the psychological patients and their problems. How the treatment was actually given and when she was set free again in the real world. As she came back to college, she had met Thomas, who was mutual friend of Diana's college soul sister. And also the time when she has lost her virginity to him. She has bled profoundly which actually is one in a million case. Second part of the book depicted the story when her long term boyfriend Bill leaves Diana and she is subjected to the harsh life of imprisonment. Which resulted in Diana making a bond with Mafia group and con mans. 

Sabrina was impressed with the twist and turns of underworld bonds on Diana's life. 'That part is so cool. I will work with Mafia too. They look so cool with guns, dominating the world. Having the confidence to ask people what they actually want. I can't wait for the third part' She dreams with her eyes open looking at the clouds with a smiling face. When suddenly a shouting voice of her mother distracts her and bring her back to the real life. 

"I have been working my day and nights off, and you just spend money on this liquor bottles. This bottle James" She directs the empty bottles in front of his face. "What is wrong with you? How many time do I have to tell you? We have a daughter to look after her studies, her demands, her extra classes which she hasn't even joined yet ! And I am the only one earning" Lina shouted at the top of her voice. With frustrated  face. " And your medical bills too !" 

"Don't make me realize that I am a handicap. If you don't want to pay my bills then that's okay ! Just don't ever bring this up again. This isn't my fault" 

Sabrina came down from her room with eyes full of tears. She watches her parents from staircase railings. She wished she could run far away like Diana did in the novel, meet some Mafia gang and establish her own empire. Come back to her parents to provide them with full financial support. She felt sorry for her Dad, six month ago he was hit by the car at central square. At that point of time, there was recession in the state which had made a worse living for people. James didn't had much money to look after his care and just continued having pain killers or antidotes. The condition of marriage of Lina and James had been so deteriorated that they were on the verge of getting separated.  It's sooner or later they will be divorced. So each time Sabrina heard the arguments, her heart came to her mouth and would pray to resolve things soon. So she found her source of inspiration in Diana Subnis. She dreamed to have a boyfriend like Jimmy Gold in future, the colleague of Diana in Mafia gang. Who would meet her at any point of her life and save her from her life from which she's trying to run away. Recession was the time when Sabrina had only option to choose between going school or having food. Well, school was necessary for her because Diana- her star had been a banker in the city where she lived in the novel. There were times when they use to just sleep of boredom and family arguments. With irritation and empty stomach. With no school fees. Everything was just falling apart in the recession. Family were dying. They were ceasing to exist. There were stories of brave family who would survive this time. Campbell's had the more worst survival experience, with James hospitalized and Lina unemployed for several months. Like there was the time of Dust bowl tragedy in 1930s. Sabrina had her own survival memories. Even after if it was time of recession she was also going through her family tragedies. Her loving father couldn't help them out of his misery. His unending leg and back pain wouldn't allow him to work. He felt useless towards his responsibility. Lina would try taking things lightly but James  smoking the packets of cigars out of his depression would make her mad as hell. She just didn't wanted to see her family die. Couldn't see Sabrina crying at nights under her bed sheet. No matter how much she tried to control the situation, everything took turns from bad to worse and seemed inevitably doomed.
