Sitting on my throne I had each of the guardians kneeling in front of me "What plans do you have my lord?" Demiurge asked looking up "Well first if I'm going to be a king, we first need to gain knowledge of the surrounding area, I have already sent the Pleiades to scout around and report back if they find anything" I said as each of them stayed knelt down "My lord, you truly are the wisest and strongest in the world" Shalltear said clasping her hands together 'Its true I was the last person on my server but that doesn't mean there weren't others on different servers' I thought as Sebas came in "My lord, we have found a human village not to far from here" "Oh they are of no concern, master would you like me to exterminate them?" Shalltear said getting up "It would appear others are beating you too it" Sebas said as the image showed the villagers being attacked by knights 'They don't stand a chance' I thought watching as a girl carrying what looked like her sister was running from them but got slashed across her back 'If those knights finish the villagers off and they find Nazarick, it could breed some.....issues' I thought watching as the elder sister shielded the younger with her body "Albedo, meet me at this village in your battle gear, I will deal with this myself" I said as my staff went into my hand "Demiurge shall be in charge in my absence. Gate" a blood red portal opened right in front of me and I stepped through. In front of me was the two girls and two knights "A knight attacking defenseless children, have you no honor?" I growled as the two raised their swords to attack "Devour" I said raising my hand and green fire cane from their bodies into my hand 'Huh, they must be really low level' I thought as their bodies dropped to the ground "My lord" Albedo said as she arrived behind me wearing purple armor and carrying a battle axe "What would you have me do with them?" she said her obvious distaste towards humans clearly showing "Here" I said reaching for a healing potion "Than-" the child cut the older girl off by grabbing her hand "No, don't drink it" "You lower life forms, you should know your place!" Albedo raised her weapon "Albedo, lower your weapon" I said as she hesitated for a second and lowered her axe. I knelt down to them and handed her the potion "It's a healing potion, it should be more than enough to heal your wound" I said standing again "Thank you, you are most kind" the girl said as she drank it the large gash on her back healing although a scar was still there "All better?" she nodded "Good, stay here while we deal with those knights" "How?" she asked "Like this" 'I'm haven't practiced this in awhile, but it isn't that high a tier spell' I thought to myself "Summon: Death Knight" the two bodies combined into a dark purple slime before growing into a massive skeleton wearing black armor carrying a jagged sword and late shield "Death Knight, protect the villagers and kill the ones wearing armor" I ordered and it roared in response running towards the village "How will we know when it is safe?" the girl asked "When the screaming stops, come" me and Albedo set off towards the village, it wasn't far before we found corpses, both those knights and villagers alike. Stepping over them we watched as the Death Knight easily dispatched the knights till only one was left. He started running in fear right towards us "Lightning" I said and a bolt of electricity cane from my staff frying the man till he was smoking "Return to Nazarick" the Death Knight bowed and stomped off "Which one of you is the leader?" I asked them and an older man stood up "I am the eldest remaining, may we know the name of our saviors?" he said as I bowed slightly "Lord Harrow" and he shook my hand "We are in your debt Lord Harrow" the village elder said as the villagers also bowed "Thank you, you all should probably hide, chances are our enemy will return" I said as the thuds of horses running was coming form the distance. To cut a very long a boring story short, some dudes who come from the kingdom the village is apart of have come here to save the villagers but were to slow. And now we're surrounded. Neat. Me and Albedo were being interrogated about our involvement in the massacre by the leader of the knights called Gazef. "So you two are just travelers passing through who not only happened upon this village in the middle of being attacked and also wiped out the entirety of the attacking force?" he said while both me and Albedo were inside one of the village buildings left standing "Yes, that is correct" I said as one of the soldiers comes in "Sir, the enemy is preparing to attack" "Oh great" the commander muttered "Would you like our assistance?" I asked but he shook his head "That will not be necessary but thank you for the offer" "If I can't directly support you then take this, it will help if something goes wrong" he put the idol in his pocket. "They're gonna die" Albedo said as the soldiers went by on horseback "Yeah.....let's go watch from over there" we walked up a hill and watch the turkey shoot, those men were fighting what looked to be angels, low tier ones but angels nonetheless meaning those simple foot soldiers didn't stand much of a chance. It was interesting watching the last one be that Gazef fellow, I'll have to keep tabs on him. "Time to make our presence known" I said as both me and Albedo teleported in front of the enemy "And who might you two be?" who I'm assuming their leader asked his hoard of little angels above "Don't you think it a bit rude to not introduce yourself first?" I said back as the commander still held his cocky grin 'I miss wiping people like him out back in the game' I thought remembering the old days "We are the Slane Theocracy, now step aside caster, we have unfinished business with that village and warrior" he said as I rolled my eyes"How rude, I went through all the trouble of saving those people earlier today and here you are still trying to kill them, personally I can't think of anything more offensive" I said the red eyes in my mask glowing slightly "You think some glowing is intimidating?" he says sounding cocky "Oh believe me that I'll do so much more than simply intimidate you worms" I said back as the confident grin was replaced with a scowl "Attack!" he commanded two angels. They flew down and lined up their light swords right for either side of my chest. The blades merely bounced off and instead two magic swords like their own stabbed through the angels killing them "What? How did he defeat them without even moving" the commander muttered as I chuckled a bit "Full physical counter, any damage thrown at me is reflected back at double strength, pathetically weak attacks like those weren't going to do much though" I said as a red eyes faded from around my body "You date mock us? Angels attack!" now all of the angels started flying at me "Triple maximize magic: Chain of Black Thunder" I cast sending a wave of black lightning bolts at the angels, needless to say it wiped them out easily. "Impossible...." he said through grit teeth "No man has that kind of power" "A man you say? Tell me...." I reached up towards my mask and removed it. Harrow was a Revenant, their bodies are entirely black smoke with colored eyes, mine were red "Do I look like a man to you?" I said darkly. All of the soldiers began to use their own magic powers "Fire ball" "Open wounds" "Paralyze" "Confusion" of course it didn't do anything. One grabbed a pebble and loaded it into a slingshot 'Aw how cute' I thought as he fired it, within the second Albedo blocked it and sent it flying back decapitating the soldier "What was that?" the leader said confused "Albedo, you know that wouldn't have done anything right?" "I know my lord but if these worms think that they are worthy enough to do battle with you then they must at least be able to beat me" Albedo said making me chuckle slightly "So you say they are not worthy?" "They are nothing more than dirt, they even saw your face which is more than they deserve" Albedo said as I picked up my mask "If you say so" putting it on I placed my hand on Albedo shoulder making her back off slightly "What should we do?" one of the soldiers asked the leader as he grit his teeth "We shall use our trump card" he said pulling out a summoning crystal, it's an item that can summon higher level creatures 'How'd they get that?' I thought narrowing my eyes "Albedo, this may require your skills" I said as she stood in front of me readying her weapon "Come forth Dominion Authority!". This angel was different from the others, it was much more powerful and it might actually cause some damage "This is your trump card?" I said faking my shock "Yes. Gaze upon its majesty for it will be the last thing you see" he said as I lowered my gaze ".....what a complete waste of time" I said making him angry "Dominion Authority use Holy Smite!" he said as a pillar of holy energy and down right on me. It hurt...a bit. My HP slowly ticked down as I started laughing "So this is what it's like to feel pain? It's been so long I almost forgot then sensation" I said as the spell ended. Albedo was shivering with anger as she screamed "YOU PARASITES!!" her voice made a almost wave like effect in the air "You date harm my beloved?! You will pay with your miserable lives in the most painful agonizing-" I put my hand on her shoulder "It's fine, I've already recovered the damage I sustained" "But my lord, they must pay-" I patted her head "Oh believe me, they will" the eyes in my mask glowing slightly. I raised my hand into the air "Doxology" I said as a rift of white fire opened in the air latching onto the angel pulling it inwards then vanishing "That's......that's not fair, that's so not fair" the man said sounding broken "Life isn't fair" I said pulling out the summoning crystal he used for that angel except now it was black with white fire on the tops of the crystals "Albedo" "Yes my lord?" "I've grown bored, do what you want with them" I turned around and started walking back towards the village "Wait Lord Harrow, please! Spare my life, these fools mean nothing, I will do anything you command with every inch of my being!" he shouted and I stopped and looked back over my shoulder "Anything? What is your name?" "Nigun Grid Luin my Lord" he said bowing "Well Nigun, you say you'll do anything?" "Yes" and I chuckled audibly "Then......please die" I said started to walk away again as the cries for mercy and agony began. I put the summoning crystal in my inventory, it may be useful later. The moon was high in the sky as I left to return to Nazarick "My lord" Albedo said landing next to me "Those worthless worms have been dealt with" "Good work" Albedo squealed as I praised her "My Lord I have a question" Albedo asked "Why did you intervene?" and I stopped looking back at her "Because it's easier to rule over those who surrender willingly rather than those who I will conquer, less chance of a rebellion, betrayal, things of that nature" I said and we continued "Oh and by the way, I am no longer Harrow, my name is now Ainz Ooal Gown"
