Piper
"Um, hi," she heard Percy Jackson say.
"Go away," she said without taking her head out of her knees.
"C'mon Pipes-" he started.
"You can't call me that, not anymore," Piper snapped, "go away. I don't need someone like you here to make me feel shittier than I already do."
"I came to apologize, for making you feel shitty in the first place," Percy said.
Piper looked up at him, "Look I heard Annabeth talking to you, she doesn't exCtly know how to whisper. I know she sent you over here and I know you think I like you. And I don't, it's someone else."
"Oh, that's relieving. But Annabeth isn't forcing me to apologize for making you feel shitty. I chose to apologize myself. I finally realized how hard you're trying to be nice, and I think maybe we could, I don't know, be friends, maybe?" He said.
His face changed into an awkward I-hope-you-forgive-me smile. Piper couldn't help but laugh.
"Yeah, I guess," she said, "but stop making that face before I pee myself."
"Alright alright," he said, "come back to dinner, you haven't eaten anything."
"Fine," Piper said.
She walked with Percy back down to the hall to get dinner. Maybe now Jason would warm up to her.
